im converting girl into a robogirl. heres an older render i made to test the texturing.

theres not as much subsurface nonsense to calculate, so she renders much faster than fleshy girl and i made an extra-high resolution image. :3

Not only would I like to see more images of her, but I would like to see what her whole body looks like as well. ^.^

Right off the bat, I am a big fan on the idea of robotic furries, not just in an aesthetics point of view, but in function too. Most to all robots made today I don't feel look all that great yet. Some some can do great things. Others are just fun or funny to see.

Check this vid out on a small cat furry bot. No need to watch all of it, you get the idea out of the first half min.

This next one has a great female form I think, for a concept little toy fem bot.

This is a funny boy bot by the same developer. And as the name Ropid, as in rapid robot, is faster than his first.

Back to slow moving bots, hear is another slow mover, in the form of another female bot.

This is from BOSTON DYNAMICS! Need I say more? What they are making is both fantastic and scary. But hardly the most scary things out there. Will likely end up being some of the most useful bots around.

Festo Robotics. Some very cool things are being bade by them. Much like Spot by B.D., many by Festo are animal inspired. And each look so alive! ^.^

Not as cool, but is something most people can make and play with. Petoi, a build yourself robot cat, for those that like cats.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGEdF5QsDB8

OK, why my interest? Well, in part due to how useful robots can be, and I think they look neat too. Two reasons I wish to see them advance more, is as a helping work force and development force. To help grow and make food, build homes, and many of the products we enjoy. I am a supporter in the ideals of The Zeitgeist Movement.

A link to that described by teddy bears. O.o

There is also a mass growing number of people whom feel alone and/or frustrated by that feeling. And having a pet like a dog or cat can help, though it is not near enough for other things we crave, such as having a sex life for one. Some just don't have one, even wile seeing someone.

I have be dating someone I have seen only five times for about a year and a half. I have known her for far longer. And I see no sign we will ever be having any sex together. And it can take weeks for me to get any kind of response from her. It's been two weeks since my last e-male to her, and she has still has yet to respond to me. I never know when she will.

I can see some form of robots filing that niche many want filled by the frustrated and lonely, some day. Not now. But, some day.

One can see here in a NSFW PornHub short vid on what some may dream of having. Not to put too fine a point, but I would be one of them. This vid is of a man with, I think, a smooth bodied furry robot, controlled by an android app.
One Electric Night link:

Two comments to that video are:
"I dunno man at this point if some weird ass troll looking furry creature showed up outta nowhere and began sucking and riding my dick i wouldnt even question it either."
and
"Why isn't this real, I need this!"

I personally feel having some kind of interactive synthetic person to help relieve the urges of sex with, or lack of basic companionship, would benefit many, and not just men. Some of that sentiments seems to be mirrored in part of the story-line to the Chobits anime.

OK, I have one critic on your model. It's the bridge between the eyes. It looks to me that it restricts some of its view. May help to make the bridge between the eyes more narrow. Otherwise, I very much like what little I can see of this. ^.^

Thanks for taking the time to post all this, I appreciate it! :>

Overall, modern robotics hasn't advanced to the point that anyone could consider them fap-worthy without really reaching into their bag of fetishes. I'm also not a huge fan of the sort of flexible metal a lot of futuristic sex-robots are imagined with. I think a nice middle ground would be cyborgs or basing a robotics style off of figures. That way you can have the clearly robotic joints and motions while keeping an appealing look overall. A good example would be Drossel von Flugel, of course factoring in some artistic modifications.

As robotics advance, though, we're definitely going to be seeing sex-bots. Bill Burr actually had a bit about it on his newest Netflix special, if you haven't seen it.

As for the bridge between the eyes, a decent scientific excuse for it would be that even with modern technology, we can calculate depth from a single point and the need for having both eyes focused on one object would be pointless for a robot. And since this robot was made for sex or whatever, it doesn't really need a wide field of view. Of course the actual excuse is that this was pretty much a 1:1 conversion using my other model as a base, and I didn't feel like making any topological changes beyond what was absolutely necessary to make the joints work.

I actually went in and figured out that she has a 2-inch blindspot directly in front of the center of that bridge. Not too bad imo.

^The blue portion is her blindspot caused by the bridge.

" "Overall, modern robotics hasn't advanced to the point that anyone could consider them fap-worthy without really reaching into their bag of fetishes."

Agree with you there. I don't find most modern robots sexy myself. Others, such as the sex dolls made into robots come across to me as mostly creepy. They just don't look alive enough to me. Even the muppets look more alive than them.

Speaking of such, here is a vid of robot fails that got me laughing. Most of it is damn funny. It even starts with two robots failing at looking sexy. That part is just sad.

" "I'm also not a huge fan of the sort of flexible metal a lot of futuristic sex-robots are imagined with."

Agree with you there too. But it is quite old. Been used on the faces of bots for years. As far back as the Gobots, predating Transformers.

" Drossel von Flugel

I had to look that up, and yes, I have seen her before. I do like the look of such robots, as for an artistic value. But I don't find any of them to be sexy enough for me to wish to have sex with one.

Now if a person would have some Faux Leather covered silicone rubber slab panels, instead of plastic or metal for an outer body of any of those types of robots, I think may make them a bit more appealing, for something to get personal with.

My own personal idea is to have a bot made with a semi flexible (hard but can flex under heavy stress, like a stiff rubber, think Kong dog toy type rubber) inner bone sport. An outer layer mix of soft foam and soft silicone rubber (Think Bad Dragon sex toy silicone rubber) used to create the main body form from. And lastly, a faux fur fursuit type outer skin. May help to use some two way and four way stretch faux fur in some areas. I think would make for a real good sex bot for many furries. ^.^

The last touch would be for it to have a decent AI to control it. I don't think we are quite there with that yet however.

And I also think it be best if it can act like it has emotions as an actor would, rather than have some crazy idea of an emotion based AI controlling it. Trying to give it any real emotions for the sake of realism, I feel is a vary bad idea.

I do indeed think we are going to have a great deal of a verity of sex bots in time, when any good ones are finally made.

No, I don't have Netflix, so I haven't seen the show.

As for the bridge of the nose on your bot, no, it's not bad for a sex bot. But as a personal preference it would look better to me if the bridge was more narrow so I can see more of her eyes. Otherwise, it looks kind of goofy to me. But that's just my opinion. ^.^

Funny, it doesn't look goofy to me seeing that shape used for your other furry models. I wonder why. O.o

Yeah, having flexible metal for the face would be the one compromise I'm willing to give. Of course the best way to do it would be a full construction simulating bone and muscle and stuff, but that kind of super fancy sex bot is like 10000 years away from being plausible, let alone affordable.

I added a second image here that shows the full body. I made the main parts of her chassis metal, the joints have a rubberish material hiding any internals (cause I was too lazy to model any) and then more rubberish stuff for the fun bits and hands. If I were to go in and design a robot from scratch I'd go about it differently, but I think it looks pretty good for how low effort it was.

And the bridge thing might be a problem with the eyes themselves. The fleshy model has a cornea that extends out from the eye and makes it look more normal, whereas this robot model actually has the front of the eye cut out to fit the lens. That larger gap could be why the bridge looks more noticeable here.
