The human mind is interesting. One can come up with an idea thought to be totally original, only to find out someone else has come up with an idea almost identical despite having no contact with one another. It's a weird situation which I, myself have ended up in on multiple occasions and this is just yet another one of those times.

Naturally when I was approached to draw a picture of Stingy Jack, I couldn't help but point out the bizarre closeness he shared with my equally flaming pumpkin headed creation. Amused by the coincidence, we both agreed this was a picture that needed to be done. (the irony being that, despite his namesake, 'Jolly' Jack does not have an overall circus motif and is far less joyous then his 'Stingy' counterpart) all the same it was nice to bring Jolly Jack out of retirement. I had been meaning to do so for awhile and what better time to do so then now?
