Whilst trying to purchase a b-day card the other day,I encountered a problem.

It would seem that the young lady at the register couldn't understand me. (minor speech impairment) I spend the next several minutes (5-10+ minutes actually) repeating myself, trying to talk as slow and clearly as possible. But I guess I kept mispronouncing things. So finally I just gave up, paid for the card and slunk out of the store, leaving the clerk to argue with her friend over what the heck I was saying.

I really wanted to scream "PLEASE. CAN I JUST BUY THIS EFFING CARD?!"
