I know it's kind of hard to see, with my crappy web cam.
I have the concept of an animated scarecrow, which comes to life to kill any intruders on his lands.
A mindless automaton killer. (Five Nights At Freddys, medieval style?...)
The little poem reads:
"You'll find less trespass
in the Acre
With a mind-less
field caretaker."
Keyword today was "mindless".

When I was a kid I was really into Horror movies. I saw the movie called "The Guardian", from 1990, and in one scene an old tree associated with forbidden Druid rituals has it's roots animate and stab people through the chest. Always creeped me out, but sent chills of a strong "that was COOL" feeling through me as well.
A version of my poem I used was going to mention something about Druid or Witch magic, giving life to a mindless golem to go out and murder interlopers.
Probably related to an older horror movie in tone: it's not always the gore or violence, but instead, the shock and violation of seeing something that "should not BE" slowly but steadily walking towards you... >:3

Nicely done! Wow, look at the amazing detail. I am a dork...at first glance I thought it was the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

Done in 2 chunks of time, each chunk less than an hour. So this took under two hours, from thinking a concept to erasing pencil marks. Yay!
