SHE WAS NOT PERFECT. but, at least, she added a layer of sense to the story, she was a very adult character....and sonic needed her to not be the douchebag he always was. sally was very important...but.....she was killed off to get amy rose, a stalker bitch as sonic's love interest.....which honestly. made me abandon the comic for good.

But Amy and Sonic aren't a couple and never will be, and at least Amy never slapped him and called him selfish for PROTECTING THE WHOLE FUCKING PLANET and doing what he loved to do. Running and freedom are a part of who Sonic is, and Sally didn't respect that. She tried to change him into somebody he wasn't just so he could be her loyal, brainwashed, companion. Amy always respected Sonic's need for freedom, Sally tried to take away the things he valued the most, his freedom and his need to run. Amy never snapped like the psychopath people make her out to be whenever Sonic and Sally started dating over and over again, she supported them and was happy because her friends where happy together. And Amy didn't go around making out with and dating every man she met, especially men she knew he disliked like Khan and Geoffrey to make Sonic jealous. Sally was a possessive, know-it-all, bitch and I'm so glad we don't have to put up with her anymore. I just wish she didn't take down the other Freedom Fighters with her, I miss all of them

I loved the Archie Sonic Comics, the IDW Sonic Comics are really good so far but the Archie comics were awesome! At least we still have Ian Flynn on board the writing team for IDW

yeah. i stand corrected.....anything NOT WRITTEN BY IAN FLYNN sucks. he actually gave sally character.....it was that dreadful miniseries of her that ruined her. not written by flynn, flyn n made sally a lil too serious, yes, but, again, she had depth, she was not childish, but, that made her interesting. unfortunately. that became a trope under the wrong writers....to the point that it was better to just get rid of her instead of saving her as a character.....really sad.
