This is Miles Prower. His nickname is Tails. It was given to him by his best friend Sonic, a 15 year old kid whose a few grades ahead of him. They met on the playground when Sonic saved him from being bullied by a bunch of other kids. He's grateful to finally have such a good friend. It even made him going to introduce himself in front of the classroom something he managed to summon the courage to do. Of course, that means that his pants have to fall down, right then and there, showcasing the character of a video game he likes to play. It's a game where a blue hedgehog runs, destroys robots, and collects rings. Sounds silly but it's even goofier when it's on your underwear.
Tails feels the draft in between his legs and hopes that it's just because a window is open. It's not.
Why is his nickname Tails? It's because Sonic teased him about his butt being big enough to house a second tail. Tails didn't like it at first but he rolled with it. It was nice having a nickname. He actually prefers it over Miles.
