"The bell rings, school's out, and the classroom empties with everyone already contemplating plans for the weekend. Kate, sitting next to Mimi, turns her head towards Mimi, asking if she wants to have a sleepover together. After suggesting they'd do so at Mimi's house, they pack up and head out."
