Wanted to finally get around to drawing my male argonian character Veesk. a blue scaled member of the blades during the events of the oblivion crisis.
as a young child, he was found orphaned in the sewers of the imperial city. Found when members of the blades were making their way through, using the sewers as a means to deftly traverse the city without detection. Taking him to Emperor Uriel Septim, he was given his blessing to be raised in the Blades' order.
As an adult, he was given a mission to meet with the escort taking the Emperor into the secret passage through the imperial prison to escape potential pursuers. As Veesk was tasked with coming to their meeting location through the sewers to clear the way for their escort to have a clear shot out into freedom. Unfortunately, at the location where he was meant to meet up with the empoeror, the mythic dawn had gotten there first. killing all but one member of the blades escort along with the emperor himself. leaving Baurus alone to inform Veesk that they'd failed to protect the emperor, and they need to report back to Jauffre. having killed the mythic dawn member that had slain the emperor, they were able to retrieve the Amulet of Kings and report back to Jauffre for a new mission. Find martin.
This then kicked off Veesk's new quest to help Martin stop the Oblivion Crisis. After having Escorted Martin to the Cloud Ruler temple, Veesk, along with other task groups of Blades started scouring Cyrodiil for information and ways to stop the mythic dawn and the oblivion gates. That was, until he stumbled on the strange island that showed up out of no were in the lack near Bravil. possessing a portal just like the oblivion gates, but instead of being opened by Dagon's followers, this one lead to the Shivering Isles. Sending Veesk on a maddening adventure through the Prince of Madness's realm. Eventually gaining his power and defeating Jyggalag, the prince of Madness's true form, and passing on the title of Sheogorath to Veesk.
leaving the portal, he joined back to the Blades to inform of what had happened, and continue his investigation of the Mythic dawn, where he was already well experienced in traveling into alternate planes of oblivion. Heading into Camoran's Paradise to confront him directly.
in the aftermath of the Oblivion Crisis, Veesk started feeling the toll that having the prince of madness's power had on him. And was drawn back to the portal that had lead him to the Islands in the first place. eventually succumbing to the madness and becoming the next Sheogorath in form.
200 years pass, and the world is shaken up by new wars, and the coming of the world eater Alduin. Veesk finally regains his sanity, and escapes the form of sheogorath. coming to his senses, he left the shivering Isles to see the new world that the one he had left behind had become. Venturing out to find the Dragonborn, as his order has sworn to follow.
