when she started to write her fic “Walking in Daylight” and Donovan appeared in it. I really wanted to draw Raph with Donovan in, well, perhaps kind of confusing situation since Raph, obviously, has feelings for Donovan but he’s not sure how to answer to those feelings.
Of course all that is just product of my wild imagination, this has not happened in the fic! At least not yet ;)

Thank you! Raph wearing clothes without his mask is something what I love but like... never draw :'D I have many things which I like and love, but never draw enough of them. Perhaps that could be explained with the fact that when Donovan first appeared in the fic, I thought him to be a female because Raphael assumed he was a female (if I don't remember wrong). Only afterwards I realized he was a male, ahah!

Right! A little after Donovan was brought into the story, he was presented as a he... But Raph could smell that Donovan had a faint female scent due to the fact that Donovan can actually have children (since Raph was a bit certain that Yoshi was actually Donovan's son and not his brother)

I love this so much! Your attention to certain details that most wouldn't notice, like Donovan's clothing choices and the red stripes, and the clothes that Raph wears is amazing. The little moths around the light look like hearts. ^.^ I think you managed the looks of confusion and indecision very well. Thank you for giving life to this fic with your drawing! <3<3<3

I'm so happy to hear that! ^u^ <3 I thought and felt like Donovan refused to wear anything else than red shirt and leather jacket. I got the feeling he LOVES leather / leather jackets so I gave him one :) Raphael's clothes are a bit like... country guy styled, but they suit him and I wanted him to be wearing something which would be "relax / relaxing". Does that make any sense? Ahaha they do look like little hearts, yes! I think they are my first moths. Thank you so much! <3 It's always such a joy to draw for you from fics. They are so inspiring! I only regret it that my inspiration and energy towards drawing has drop so dramatically this year...
