This painting is of their adventure-loving character named Neige :) Here Neige is in awe of the beautiful tropical coasts that she is visiting for the very first time, on her quest to join a ship crew! ^^ __________
This painting was so fun to do! Quite a bit out of my comfort zone, with the large ocean landscape and cool refreshing colors :) I love how it all came together in the end! I also really enjoyed drawing and rendering Neige's clothing and armor, and working on anatomy a bit different than the cats I usually draw!
Learned quite a bit here with painting leaves and vegetation too! And have already used those techniques on a few other works since this one :D Also was fun to work on another 21:9 aspect ratio painting! With large works like this it feels great! _____________________
