Background/History
She was born in a small "fishing village" on the coast where the people made their living pillaging trade ships or small coastal trading towns. From a young age she learned to sail and command crews under the guidance of her parents who were some of the best in the business. In her early teens she even commanded a ship/crew and started pillaging on her own. When she was 20, on one of her coastal town pillages, she got into an encounter with a lower level hunter who was able to wound her. She ended up killing him in the fight but she realized she was loosing blood fast. She stumbles down a small street trying to get back to her ship when a young man came over to her as she passed out in his arms. She awoke latter in what looked like a small size hospital room with the man from earlier was cleaning her wound. He told her to take deep breaths as after he cleaned the wound he started stitching it up. When he was done, Ionia thanked him as she tried to get up but she was too weak to do so. The man told her to relax as the blade she was injured with was poisoned tipped and it would take a few days for her body to expel it. Knowing that her crew probable left her behind as the code would say, she reluctantly rested in bed for the next few days. During this time, the man who she learned was named Ivan, bonded and started to get to know one another. After she recovered, Ionia thought about returning to her village, but Ivan offered her a chance to do something else with her life as he offered her a nurse/caretaker position in his small medical practice. This is where she would work over the next year, growing closer with Ivan. When Ivan was recalled to his home city, as he was the son of the city's founder and Ivan's father decided to retire and hand down leadership to his son. Ivan, who never wanted to be in the leadership position, reluctantly agreed to take leadership and closed down his practice in the coastal town. Ionia came with him to the city, where he proposed to her and in a small ceremony, married each other, as she adopted the name Ionia-Yggdrasil to be part of the family. The had a passionate night where months latter, she game birth to their only son Ion. For the next few years, she nurtured Ion to be adventurous and helped him realize his natural sword ship abilities and his affinity to lightning and fire. When Ion was about 8, she received terrible news that her parents were hunted down/killed by Contract Hunters and they were after her next for the crimes of her past. Now wanting to put the safety of her son and partner in danger, she made the painful decision to leave them behind and return to her home village. There she would retake her mantle as a pirate, in order to keep the hunters attention on her, far away from her family. She then regained her passion for pillaging and started to become one of the most successful pirates/pillagers again. Years latter she would reunite with Ion, hen he was investigating pirate activity/attacks in a coastal town. During the fight, when she realized it was him, she embraced Ion who was taken aback that his mother was still alive. Ion decided to let her go, as he would not "officially" complete a contract on his mother (he didn't know her real name was Freya as on the contract) and told her to be more discrete in her actions. Even though her son was part of her enemies' organization, she was proud of what he became. Ion would then help her out by taking on contracts related to her crew and "completing" them, which was getting harder as she continued to pillage at a high pace against Ion's wishes.

World/Setting
(Same world as Ion-Yggdrasil): Comes from a world that is a mix of now and older times (there is technology but also swords, knights and other medieval characteristics). The world also has magic users similar to adepts from Golden Sun.
Body
Average build and taller in height, with a fluffy tail, large ears (similar to a fennec fox) and orange eyes. Main fur is dark grey with light grey chest/belly fur and muzzle. Belly fur is outlined in orange with average sized breasts and standard hips. Paws and feet are orange and light grey. Hair is even lighter grey with dark grey ears with orange ear tips. Tail is dark grey with orange tip and light grey accents. She has a scar on her lower right abdomen, where she was injured just before she met Ivan.
Clothing
Wears something similar to a female pirate outfit (visually looks like something similar to Maria's outfit from BloodBorne).
Accessories
Has a few different sized curved sabers and a flintlock like pistol that can rapid fire smaller ammunition or blast larger ammunition like a hand cannon. She can switch this ammunition on the fly and it seams unlimited.
