Yeah, I'd always go out and try to catch them at night when I was a boy. Don't see fireflies around as much anymore though :<

A truly beautiful painting! As a pup, I had a firefly actually land on me; it stayed there for a minute or two, and I saw the flashing (if you'll pardon the pun) up close. You can offer all the science and biochemistry you want... I still say it's magic. ^_^

Oh, that's pretty cool ^^ They used to be all over the place during the summer where I grew up, but I haven't seen a lot out for some time.
