Character Description
Belle: She's the happy-go-lucky girl who seems like a very girly-girl type. She's seen wearing dresses, especially sun-dresses, and often holds a feline plushie. she sometimes tells people about her imaginary friends, one being Bella. The other becomes a "persona" later on as she grows older.
Bella: She's the energetic tomboy who likes to get down and dirty. She prefers jeans and pants over a skirt any day. Especially since her parents often scold her for accidentally flashing people whenever she does strenuous things.
Personality
Belle is a happy-go-lucky girl, excited and open for adventure, but she has a soft demeanor, favoring pretty things like flowers, bees, and all kinds of beauty that Nature can offer. She also emanates a leader-like quality about herself, despite being girly. Most boys and girls who are friends with her express that she's like an angel that could ease their stress away, but a princess that could motivate them with enough fire to take over the world.
Bella, on the other hand, is more of a tomboyish person. While Belle also likes adventure and exploration as much as Bella does, Bella is more outgoing and will even duke things out with the boys, giving her own leader-like qualities. While Belle is like an angelic princess, Bella is more like a Yakuza leader whose subordinates would address her as such. Bella also considers herself a realist when it comes to the world, unlike Bella, who is an optimist.
Likes/Dislikes
Belle
Likes: Blue especially Sky blue, flowers (the Iris is her favorite), fantasy-type stories and games like The Legend of Zelda or Fire Emblem, Princesses, including warrior-princesses. Magical Girls, and anime. Also likes Monster Hunter.
Dislikes: getting dirty, especially after finding out Bella was the one who got her soiled, foul smells (she easily gets sick), flying (also gets airsick), sudden loud exploding sounds (after having seen gunfights)
Bella
Likes: Bugs, meat (especially beef and deer jerky), monster trucks, Sci-fi games and movies like Metroid, Mass Effect, Star Trek, Star Wars (Ahsoka Tano is her favorite Jedi but she has a crush on Finn from the Disney trilogy), Warrior princesses, magical girls, and anime. Also likes Monster Hunter.
Dislikes: sailing (she gets seasick), cheesy stuff like romance films (okay with some rom-com movies), anything that mentions "The Power of friendship"
Background/History
Born as an only child to two military personnel, Isabelle/a grew up a military brat. She grew up around bases at an early age, but her parents finally settled after her dad took on a promotion.
At some point, her parents started to notice something strange with her, as she would have different "moods" growing up. They took her to the pediatrician, trying to see if there were any injuries that she had, but their pediatrician told them to see a psychologist. After they did, her parents found that Belle had Dissociative Identity Disorder. From there, there was further investigation about what happened to bring forth Belle's multiple personality, as she'd often report both forgetting things quite often, both of her personalities.
This was due to the fact Jane, her mother, had been previously married to another man and when she was away doing work, Belle suffered abuse from her biological father. When her mother caught him, she had killed him. At this time, Jane was serving in the military. But as the President pardoned her for protecting her child, she eventually took some wise counsel and ran for office months after she was released.
Currently, while Belle/Bella are undergoing treatment, the young doe seems more comfortable with the alternate personality she has.

Body
Belle/a's body is that of a young humanoid figure, but she has hooves in lieu of toes, despite her feet being more plantigrade. everything else except the face is humanoid in form.
Her feral version is what you would expect a deer to be, except she could talk.
Clothing
Belle tends to wear dresses, like sundresses and frilly skirts, while Bella prefers to wear pants, jeans, overalls, and boyish type clothing. It's better suited for her as her parents tend to scold her if she wears skirts and does a lot of acrobatic play.
