Testing the music submissions by uploading a MIDI EP in progress that I have been working on in the last few years. It's meant to tell a story of an epic adventure with each track representing a chapter.
Currently contains chapters 3-6, 1 and 2 are missing because I need to remaster those tracks to reduce clipping and bad samples. Here are the descriptions of the chapters.
Chapter 1 - Act 0 ~Prologue~
This chapter introduces the main character, known by title as La Protagonista. Who she is and the struggles she will have to face. This will serve as an intro
Chapter 2 - The Sands of Time
This chapter is done in a sequential progressive style, illustrating the upbringing of the main character bereft of her parents. Then one day, she comes across something that empowers her, but bears a prophetic news of an impending apocalyptical scenario. With little better to turn to and little to lose, she accepts the contract offered to her and starts off in her quest.
Chapter 3 - Act 1 ~The Outset~
The adventure has begun, our questor teams up with an underground resistance group and together they bop around the continent, thwarting the invading forces of evil as they go.
Chapter 4 - The Turning Point
In this chapter, our heroine finds out about her blue-blooded heritage, and after some soul searching she accepts this revelation, giving her renewed resolve to fulfill her destiny and to get closure on the issue of her parents.
Chapter 5 - Assault! ~The Impending Malediction~
This is where big things start to happen towards the end of Act 1. The resistance have all but driven the invading forces back from whence they came from. All that is left to do is to retake the capital city where the commanding general of the invading forces have been using for his base of operations. Little do they know that this general, having been wizened up the the exploits of the resistance, has something specially diabolical prepared for them.
Chapter 6 - Lost Innocence
It turns out the this diabolical surprise prepared for the resistance is none other by the father of our heroine, he has been turned against his will to do the bidding of the general, and our heroine is forced to fight her own father in order to come out of it alive. They overcome the threat, somehow the "spell" put on her father is broken, but he is dying. In his dying breaths he urges his daughter to keep going and take the general down. He also warns that the general isn't the only one pulling the strings of the invading force and that there is someone else. The father dies, the heroine mourns for a while before moving on to to confront the general and take him down.
