sorry for terrible drawing. was a while ago i need to update with better pic but this will do for now as i want to write this out

Species Name: Puppian (Pup-pie-anne) chibi

physical description:
canine legs but stands upright. big feet and thighs. big paws. often an orangey soft brown but ranges in colours. doggy nose ( i sometimes draw with small nose and sometimes big dog nose. this is the big dog nose in example. the little nose is accurate to my imagination so i often draw that instead but big nose looks better sometimes idk. just think sonic x nose and my other art for example of smaller nose). big eyes. big floppy ears with big pink skin section on inside. a more thick oval shape rather than floppy flat like rabbit. little tail. height average sonics height in sonic x whatever the number is lol im not good at this stuff

culture/history/living style:
these creatures are a civilised race which can talk. they have advanced tech including advanced social AI for psychiatric help and health checks, advanced cooking tools and advanced medical technology and herbs. known for the best food and medical care around. it is well known most puppian's love food but it is due to their natural nature due to coming from a planet with a lot of food so they have a high metabolism so have to eat a lot often. it is also naturally a big social point and how they act around food can say a lot about a puppian and if they like you. it has become a bit of a stigma in some places to think these creatures only care about food and are not as nice as they seem but instead greedy and selfish but it couldn't be further from the truth. they are a peaceful race and have only had war a few times in their history and it was in self defence. they are generally liked by most races now and so have no fear of war again as if you picked on them you would be pretty much picking on everyone else as well. recently they have been experimenting with teleporting tech even dimensional travel but this is not commercially available yet and still being tested. Puppian's are a very friendly race and they often seem to act like a younger human child due to being more emotionally driven than an adult however they are not any less intelligent. they walk around naked except for occasional fashion clothes. some still live in the wild in tribes as the planet is very big and a lot hasn't been discovered yet.

races that like them: orcs are particularly fond of them as they cant resist their cuteness and feel the need to protect them

races that dislike them: not many. humans especially dont seem to trust them tho and they can be pretty racist to them especially when it comes to restaurant laws. legally in certain locations there should be high fat and sugar big portion options for puppians but humans often hate having to stock extra food for them and believe it is bad for their business. this often causes problems when puppians go abroad.

another race that doesn't like them is the food race. they live in a world which is made of food stuffs so you can imagine why they don't trust these guys although they haven't actually done anything to them. they are not legally allowed to not let them in but they will try to get rid of them ASAP and give no courtesies.

strengths: good food, health care and tech

religion:
the spirit mother is a religion which many puppian chibi believe. this is a belief that there is a spirit of a motherly puppian chibi that created their race and watches over them and all life on their planet. she teaches them to respect and love nature and because of this it is common to prey over every meal since they are carnivores. preying over their food before eating it ensures the soul of the prey reaches afterlife peacefully. it also teaches them to be thankful for what they have and what the mother has given them. there are multiple statues and structures dedicated to these beliefs including ones which represent certain sins or feelings to respect such as the statue of greed which shows a fat puppian chibi eating. it is said if you rub their belly, prey and thank the mother for your food and leave an offering you may have good food for the weeks to come. it is also said this statue can help cure stomach related illnesses which can be common with sensitive puppian stomachs. there is also the statue of family which works much the same way but instead has a mother puppian chibi with 3 children and is pregnant and represents fertility and family bond. prey and rub the belly at this statue and you may get pregnant with a healthy child or solve family relationship issues. Puppians are very family orientated so this is also very important to them.
