So I was playing around with a character for Pathfinder and decided on this little gem, an alchemist gun chemist who just loves making things go boom. She's chaotic, impulsive, and as a goblin, she abhors writing, so her formula book is all stick figure drawings she made using colored wax sticks each scented with whatever ingredient or reagent she needs. Illegible to anyone but her.

she is a great genius and pretty good lookin too it is always good to have a great alchemist on hand especially a warrior gun alchemist I love this sweet idea you are a genius.

The caption reminds me a bit of the old sci-fi show "Red Dwarf". IIRC the cat people were mentioned as having used a similar writing system in the centuries before all but one of them abandoned the ship.
