Oh boy, how do I even explain what's happening in this one? You guys may not know it, but I've got an entire universe in development, with characters I flesh out all the time, and here are two of the most important, Calahini Stevens (Cal for short, he's the dog) and Eillac Nikolaev (Used to be Callie, he's the Candy Lion).
If you noticed in scraps I released their character sheets alongside this because it will just be too much to explain why they look so different in this version o3o but yeah..
Those of you who were around before the gallery restart may remember that Cal seemingly had a thing for Brian, and he did :3 but as my universe developed I figured out why this was, and the reason is ugly and one that Cal will eventually be forced to look at and consider, and in this picture, he's considered it and let the yeti go, embracing the lion who's been yearning to be a part of his life at last, and with that we have this :3
There's too much to explain how they got to this point, or to explain who these guys really are and why this scene is important to them and to me. Too many stories to share, ah well. Just know, they need each other, and this is a good thing.
This picture started as a doodle in the library because I was bored, kinda grew out of control >3> no idea what's happening in the background, frankly I just wanted to draw them together in a finalized pic for the first time ever.
