Made yet another Commission with @Sydery

Magic it self, interacted by patterns on was either connected to or affected as either as a dancer channeling the rhythm to movement or a musician with an instrument. Like certain sounds patterns resonated with the interdimensional particles of viss and mana; flowing through interconnected streams like a fabric. Like cymatics, where a sound would create geometric shapes, these streams were attuned to the applications of magic or thaumaturgy. Though this explained how to tap into magic it didn’t quite explain what generated mana, viss or what dictate its streams and shapes. Aunu knew these Fabrics were best ascribed more as guide lines or scripts whilst what belied the source code behind it all was the source of magic but what it was still was not known.

The idea that a musical resonance could also simulate a magical effect wasn’t impossible. The Drasil tree's sound was proof of this concept. Clemente crafted much like a tuning fork, was meant to simulate this measure of sonic resonance. The vibrations of the blade quickly gyrated earth into sand and molded it into glass that easily settled betwixt the waves of music. This was his orchestra; one that writhed with a symphony of heaven and earth that caused the vacuous spirits to atune.

Such a nice drawing ! ^^
But...despite that fearsome attitude, those kind of outfit always make me wat to do some belly rub XD

Also...first time i think to ask the question but ... what's the difference between magic and thaumaturgy ? And what does thaumaturgy means too ? Until now i had assume it was another word for magic ^^'

Primarily Thaumaturgy has several differing definitions Wonder-working or Miracle working. In certain aspects where magic is meant to be of ones own personal activation thaumaturgy is often describe as using a catalyst to drive changes to physical laws. In most case there is no difference but you could think of it much like the definitions between Acid-base to lewis-acid-lewis-base where an acid is gives of protons and a base accepts them but a lewis-acid is an electrophile, as in anything that likes electrons and lewis-base are nucleophiles; making the terms very subtly interchangeable based on what side of the chemical reaction your

If you don't like that then here is also another definition I cooked up {Magic is overall a matrix of simulated interactions of tesseracts to invoke a shifting of , coiled and/or larger, dimensions to alter localized physical laws via resonating quantum effects while Thaumaturgy uses it to unfurl coiled up dimension or malign higher ones to alternate physical laws with the unique qualities of said dimensions. The basis of interacting with magic/thaumic principles in most realms of reality is determined by inter-dimensional particles mana viss and nu that generate a simulated inter-dimensional fabric known as a weave that bisects these to principles. One may either interact with a natural weave by twin collaboration of psychic and/or yogic(physical exertion) to alternate the currents of the weave, resonate themselves as a node or transmitter of such weave, interact as a catalyst of the waves generated in the weave or in extremely rare cases generate their own weave}

I like both definition ! So...when you see some wizard using a wand, since the wand is a catalyst, that is considered thaumaturgy...or it is still magic O_o
Or do you mean that the power used is the one of the catalyst and not the one of his user (who can then have no power by himself) ?

Meh....*search his satchel*...i'm out of KatNip... I only have chocolate right now... XD

The wands are often considered enhancers of magic so more like extensions of ones own internal magic but if its producing something other than your own magic than it is thaumaturgy.
A magic or enchanted sword is thaumaturgy but if you learn how to do what the sword does by studying the enchantment then you can make it your own magic.
A cleric receiving divine power or eldritch knight receiving a power from his god (tentacles being jammed in certain places), is also thaumaturgical. There are many other interchanges and ect but yeah thats a good simple example
