I first created the sketch on my computer, then I used my light box to draw the sketch out on paper. After that, I watercolored the base sketch but I didn’t go into detail, it was just a lose flat painting just to get the feel of the image. Afterwards, the fun part, I detailed the image with coloring pencils, even adding my own textured effects, it may or may not look ok. Then I completed the picture by going over the coloring pencils with more watercolors just to solidify the look a bit. I had to be very careful shading Vulpix because if I overdid it, it wouldn’t be it’s true whitish colors so I was careful. All in all, I’m happy with this piece and I hope you enjoy it.
