I peered into the eyes of black sun and witnessed the serpent. A child of Arbinel, weaver of existence, the teacher made manifest to the mouths of Shulva and their guidance.
Where Issac loomed across the stars to seek answers, Valdurech wept the creation of the triangle into reality to birth their own. Their sigil, their shape, their reminder and ours that we need for direction, we cannot simply wander in this sharp place.
The universe is shattered, the olden gods kept far away and yet once more rising. Even now I can feel it. The motherless Still has her influence, and the garden of her child’s followers still stir for her.
We are surrounded by the serpent’s weaving, their tapestry of mercy. The truth is written in our being and essence. To yearn for creation and love, to unshackle ourselves from the grand lies we perpetuate and enslave ourselves to the mundane for. To embrace the lie otherwise is to erode ourselves of our expression. To deny that right is to leave the sullen rings upon us unacknowledged, and the mark upon our chests empty.
The truth is everywhere, inescapable and natural to us. The lie can only manifest in fractions of a people, in fractions of a time. Its weakness relies on our apathy and anger, on our willingness to perpetuate the illusion until we are too weak to see beyond it.
In this way of life we are all orphaned and alone. Just as Issac, just as Balphram, just as Valdurech.
