Rick "GameFox" and Lena meet each other during there school years around the age 16 - 17, Rick would often see her sitting alone during lunch and he got curious about her becuse she where so small but she where wearing the schools student Uniform, so when he where walking by he would often try to sneak a peak at what she where doing on her Tablet and he did spot that she where reading some of his favorite comics on it, he wanted to talk to her but since he suffers from quite a serious social anxiety he would always chicken out, and would carry on for about 3 months untill he finaly took his courage and asked if he could sit at the table with her? Lena supriced at this quickly took her Tablet and hid about half her face behind it and gave him a shy nod becuse you see Lena herself suffers from a bit of Social Anxiety and Rick actually recognize this behaviour since he used to to the same thing a few years back when strangers talked to him, but not turning tail now he sits down and introduces himself and reaches out his hand for a shake, Lena takes his hand and reaponce quietly with her name, and Rick says, Well nice to meet you (with a bit of a shakey voice) and breath out, I'm sorry it's just I been wanting to talk to you becuse I seen you been sitting here reading one of my favorite comic book so I'm interested in getting to know you but I been scared becuse I have a Social Anxiety, so my pulse is racing right now~ ;^^ Lena gives out a little giggle at this and lower her Tablet, She seem to relax a bit at this point and Rick responses, I'm not kidding here feel my Pulse, he reaches out his hand to her and tells her to take it and she Carefully takes it and when she does Rick takes it and put it on his racing heart, Lena Blushes a bit and Rick says, I get the feeling you are like me and nervous meeting new people? And Lena responded with a shy quiet, Y-yes that is correct, Rick let's go of her hand and tells her with a gentle smile, I do hope we can get to know each other that is if you like to?
So after that they started to have Lunch together talking carefully while opening up slowly to each other till eventually they when interacting with each other you would not be able to tell them apart from any other pair of friends and apart from the Social Anxiety they have quite a bit in common they alot of the same type of Games, Comics, Manga, Cartoons and Anime, so after a while they started hanging out on there free time Enjoying spending time with each other and typically read the new Comic/Manga releases together among other things.
Just thoug I add a lite note here in the comments about the story that I wrote here, my fursona here shares my flaws and I do have a bad Social Anxiety and when I where younger there have been people I wanted to talk to but never did becuse I turned tail! I'm more mature now and that's reflected in my fursona.
And Lena I always had in mind when I made her that she is suppose to be simular in alot of way.
