So here's a quick little piece, this being a more stylized piece than I usually do. Been thinking about doing this sort of art for a while now, the concept being I want it to look like it's out of a sketchbook, using techniques I have to make things stand out like the white border and simple gradient background. Went with Nickel here, as I thought he'd make a good first attempt for that. Ended up remaking an earlier concept for him, wasn't overly happy how that looked before so here it is again with him and I think he looks nicer. Might do one with Cashew as well since he was in the original but isn't in this. Hope you guys enjoy and more to come.
On a side note, main reason I went ahead and made this simpler piece is I am working very hard on getting commission projects done and updates for them should start coming in as promised. I don't know exactly what I'll have done by Monday and due to a complication unrelated to my schedule, I didn't get as much done as I had hoped to but I still got quite a bit done. So you all should still see updates very soon, probably sometime between Monday and Friday.
