Traits: A 19-year-old frog who never developed arms from her tadpole state. She never let that get her down though, as she's a extremely determined fighter, sometimes overly so. Very energetic and kinda jumpy at times. Her motives about her profession (having something to prove about herself) are somewhat childish, but she's serious about what she does.
Powers, Abilities and Skills: - Expansive intelligence of martial arts --- She’s explicitly trained in self-defense, learning to find openings as she fights. Once she gets in on her opponent, her fighting style is very flashy. She has transferred all of her knowledge about martial arts into utilizing it through her legs. - A tongue capable of grappling and whipping --- Although it's a very unorthodox method of attacking, Zippy has nearly mastered using it to her advantage. Her tongue can also act as a makeshift arm, making it very important for her outside of combat. - Basic usage of chi --- She was only able to obtain a fraction of her former mentor’s knowledge of chi, but she's capable enough to be able to utilize it properly. Channeling energy to specific parts of her body, Zippy can enhance her attacks, often causing her legs to glow a cyan color. Zippy is also able to create small shockwaves with her kicks, which materializes as an attack up close and can knock opponents back due to manipulated wind from afar.
Tid-bits: - Utilizing chi, Zippy’s top recorded speed is 36mph, and although already a very high jumper due to her species, her highest recorded jump is 59 feet. - Although Zippy may find struggle dealing with enemies more durable than large buildings, her knowledge of martial arts and pressure points allow her to viably take on enemies much stronger and more powerful than she is, assuming their knowledge of martial arts is no match for hers. She's also capable of disassembling machinery using her attacks. - Zippy was once in a gang. She committed theft in exchange for martial arts training from her gang leader/master. Once the gang started killing people, she confronted her master, but she was no match for his expertise in fighting. She was almost killed, but was saved by one of the crimefighters from the Hero Complex. Despite this, she was not in the clear and was convicted of her crimes. Zippy was able to negotiate out of serving a sentence in exchange for turning a new leaf and doing service for the Hero Complex. Unfortunately, service doesn’t exactly land you a place for you to stay, so she had to work for her to be trusted to live there. She was 18 during these events, and was kicked out of the house after her parents have learned of her crimes.
Well with that wall of text out of the way, hope you like the new art of her. Drew it in mid-June, and I've been waiting for the right time to post this. I personally think it's miles ahead of her old art, which can be found here!
