As of today my cat that I took in over 10 years
ago passed away after a month of weakness
and sickness.

I took him in after he came out of the sewers
and was left declawed by his previous owners
who abandoned him.

A lover of all things canned, you will be missed
old friend. Go scratch up those trees in the great
beyond with the claws you never had.

I know the pain man, my own cat Malte had to be put down in late October of last year, so I know the hell you're going through.

We were going to put him down today but he actually passed away in the car on our way to the vet.

It was rough to get there and notice he was already gone. We were only opting to put him down to end his misery instead of letting it keep going on but nature took its course right beforehand.
