Hmmm one thing nobody ever thought of in pokemon mystery dungeon.... Is waking up as a baby kangaskahn. I would call him Rookahn for the baby kangaskahn.
It would make a great story for the Orphan boy to meet with his adopted mother and his friend Chespin to go out for an adventures.
