The main thing here is a screenshot of progress in my Game Maker: Studio 2 project with the only edit being putting my name in the corner. The other pages are graphics used in this updated 720p UI. Anyway I have been taking things that were drawn in on the background and setting up the code to draw them on the UI layer. Seems the grappling vine isn't actually grabbing the leaf shard it is reeling in.
Nice to see that you have taken this into a game engine, if you are not sure how to get the grappling to work (or other things for that sake) then I can always throw some code your way.

Oh I have been working on it in Game Maker for years. And yeah, the segment with the three boxes and seven leaves isn't really being used. I guess part of me wants to retain having a bottom panel dedicated to UI, probably as a holdover from the rest of the areas that use a 3DS sized window as I hoped to one day have it on that.
