It's been one of the most exhaustive months of my life, shooting one scene after the other with limited time for relaxation in between.
The show, after three hard working years, was finally coming to an end. That day, we are to film the grand finale but, little did we know, God had other plans.
Bojack, the star of the show, under the influence of drugs, gave a macabre ending instead. He claimed that he couldn't recognize him and assumed, it was all part of the act.
In fact, he did exactly what his character was supposed to, in the script.
Mr. Peanutbutter, exited as he was about the finale, in which he'd fake his own death, stepped on the chair, grabbed the rope hanging from the ceiling, and put the noose around his neck eagerly.
After that, jokes where exchanged and funny expressions were made, followed by laughters of joy.
Mr. Peanutbutter continued to amuse everyone around him, cast and crew, but, was interrupted by Bojack's entrance to the studio.
He of course didn't receive a warm welcome, as he was once again late for shooting.
Confused by hallucinations and mixed emotions, walked towards his friend and stood infront of him. Mr. Peanutbutter, happy to see that his colleague decided to show up, greeted him in his unique yet annoying way.
"What is this, a crossover episode?"
That's all he had the time to say, when all of the sudden, Bojack kicked away the chair underneath his feet. That moment, everyone witnessed their beloved TV star and friend, dive into obliteration.
His death was instant, and the cracking of his neck still haunts my memory. What a piercing sound, a shiver down my spine I felt.
Many rushed to his assistance, while others tried to restrain Bojack, who at the moment was guarding the body, using an open umbrella as a weapon.
Once they managed to reach him, they lifted his legs and kept his torso upright, in order to remove the rope around his neck.
They smoothly placed him down and checked his pulse. We couldn't do anything to save him. His fate was sealed. Everyone was shocked, horrified and silent.
The thread of life after all, is very fragile, and we ought not to forget it.
Mr. Peanutbutter, is a main character from a popular Netflix series called The Horseman Bojack Show.
