I used to push my pinky finger down a bit too harsh and given I draw a lot and fast the friction would give me a big bobo that got all bumpy and yuck and most of all, ouchie. ;-; I've got this thing for like.. 70 cents on Alixpress and ever since I use it it has disappeared.
Soooo I'd say in my case it's very helpful but for other people with varying techniques results may differ. Still it's not bothersome, almost comfy even and avoids grease on the plastic tablets or screen tablet surfaces. I'd def recommend it more for a cintiq or the like to help keep it cleaner and make the working process more comfortable.
