Personality
A little bit scatterbrained and socially awkward, but thinks on his feet quite well when it counts.
Background/History
Jikai used to belong to a noble house before deciding that the pampered life wasn't for him and ended up sneaking away in the night. During his nights out, he found that he had an affinity for thievery and was discovered by the Underground Clasp, now giving him contracts to steal certain items with pretty good pay.
A few months passed and the higher-ups gave the opportunity of a group mission to steal a large, priceless gem from another region's castle for a exorbitant amount of money. Obviously Jikai signed up for this with several others, but upon crossing over the castle's walls and seeing the place crawling with hundreds of guards armed to the teeth, he waited until no one was paying attention to him and bailed out, leaving the rest of the team for dead. As far as he is concerned, all of them died.
Knowing that he can no longer show his face in the Underground lest he be killed, he fled to a new land to pick up his life there instead. Using the shady skills he has learned along the way, he finds a place that gives him odd jobs and allows him to keep what he finds, it is a stable life so far. Definitely a step down from the Nobles.
