Semi-aquatic. They're also what we would call a proto-mammal. They give birth to live young. They don't nurse the young but they take care of the young until they are old enough to take care of themselves. They also have three different types of teeth. The natives of the world on which they live use the Ashtlaka as a beast of burden.
