What role are these 'superhero' characters gonna occupy in the game? If any at all?

Antagonists. I'm planning for them to be actively interacted with, and depending the choices made throughout their chapter; possibly corrupted/befriended/etc. BlightFire and Blue Lightning are planned for after Caroline's chapter.
