Very good point. Patience is something which people in modernity lack. They have become accustomed to a bright and loud culture which destroys attention spans and constantly bombards all senses. Sensory overload is shockingly common in Britain for example, yet people have become so used to it, that they would never notice how extremely unhealthy it truly is.
