Beast: One of the few surviving heroes, the Beast and the inhabitants of the castle were initially unaware of the outbreak that had reached the village until he and Belle noticed the various servants of the castle slowly turning into lifeless inanimate objects.
A few weeks later, the surviving members of the village would seek refuge in the Beasts castle. Many of them wounded and shaken by some terrible event that had transpired in the village. Shortly afterwards, the hordes would find their way to the castle, completely swarming the grounds as they sensed the survivors within.
For a time, things were relatively fine in the castle, until the beast had seen that the enchanted rose he had protected for so long was beginning to die.
But that was only the beginning, during the night, one of the villager’s died and returned as a zombie. Inciting panic and pandemonium in the castle as the villager’s do their best to flee, only to be met by the massive hordes of zombies, who managed to break through the great front door and storm the castle.
All throughout the castle, the sounds of tearing flesh, frightened screams, and terrible screeches of the undead filled the castle. To ensure her safety, the beast hid Belle inside the attic and went to fight off the hordes.
Though the Beast was able to overpower many of the undead invaders, the beast was rushed by the unless hordes and was sent flying off the balcony where he landed in the river below. After scrambling to the shore, the beast looked up in horror as he saw the castle become consumed in a fiery blaze, hearing the screams of the helpless still trapped inside as he began to fear the worst.
Unable to make it back to the castle, the beast wept, feeling that he had lost the love of his life in the flames. With a broken heart, the beast wandered into the woods where he would attempt to lose himself. But then, his sight is greeted by the rose from his room before him. Thinking back to Belle as it sparkled softly with the little magic it had left.
Taking the rose as a sign that Belle may yet still be alive, the Beast wondered off in search of survivors, arming himself as best as he could from what he could find. For the next few months, the beast would wander the wilderness, fighting off wolves, bears, undead, and the element’s as he searched for survivors.
To his luck and surprise, he would eventually come across a group of survivors and would join them in their travels as they searched for a safe place to stay. Serving as their muscle, the beast would help clear

Serving as their muscle, the beast would help clear their path as they journeyed onward, while also fighting his ever-lurking inner beast as it continued to claw viciously on the walls of his mind, begging to get out. With only the memories of Belle and the single rose he has held onto after his escape keeping his humanity intact. He must find Belle, only then, will he be at peace.
