well for one their dumb copyright claim on SMG4's Meggy who used to be an Inkling until the aforementioned copyright claim, DESPITE the fact that he also uses Mario without getting a copyright strike, which is kinda dumb as the Inklings are a general species while Mario is a singular (and iconic) character, so a custom character of a species that belongs to a company should not result in a copyright strike provided that the creator of said character gives credit to the owner of said species. First off, they seriously pulled a copyright claim on Meggy? Wait, is THAT why Meggy became human?! I thought it was because of what happened to her at the end of the Anime Arc! That’s way beyond stupid! And what’s so bad about Joker of the Phantom Thieves being in Smash? What about the other fighters like Solid Snake and Bayonetta?shows that Smash is for ALL AGES.

We feared that was the end, we prayed and we fought But it seemed the fighting was all for naught But then years later new hope arose A chance to make sure the book would not close. For at Nintendo’s E3 direct Where a man who deserves all our respect Took notice of the two left out in the snow And sent them a letter to dispel their woe Indeed, the man Sakurai who heard the fans Took matters into his own two hands He sent an invite with a familiar seal And fans screamed so hard the walls would peel For off into smash the Bear and Bird rode And once more the internet would explode!
