Children of the stars often see themselves closer as kin to lightning. They strike in the hastes of worry and fear…yearn to be grounded when the truth of their beauty is that of the cosmos.

They see the magic of their feelings as something to be possessed through ownership and acquisition, found on objects and acts than through the source of themselves. In this way of life with their hands outstretched towards desires, their dreams dwindle into the mundane as their feelings grow cynically linked to all things that vanish of this world.

You cannot capture in your hands a fallen star, but you cannot be so small as to believe the only things to be cherished is that of the touchable, the tangible. If you follow this path, your soul will cry out one day and you will nary have any understanding as to why.

Look to the skies, child of the stars. You are more than small things, more than clay and dirt. I have seen it out there, now you must too.

YEESSSS!!! So much this! The sublime beauty of the temporary and the ethereal is one of those things I'd think would be clear but I keep meeting people who can't appreciate that.
