Pharynx was now the prince of Changelings since he had given his love freely and transformed into how he is now. His antlers, though smaller than Thorax's, still shown he was of royalty and he was quite proud of how he looked now.
But of course, old habits died hard. He shouldn't have to feast on love, but he still quite enjoyed a good meal every once in awhile. And besides, ruling a kingdom is hard and he found that as an excuse to get some energy back.
And what better way to also add that he was royalty then to act it out just a bit to some gullible ponies?
This was the reason why he was so far from the Hive, out on patrol he said and well, he wasn't entirely lying. And no changeling suspected what he was doing. His wings buzzed as he searched for his meal, letting his predatory nature from the old days seep into his instincts.
There, of course, was always one pony or two that are away from the herd, believing they were safe. Well, he can make them all the safer in his own way. Dinner was calling and he was heading closer and closer.
Meanwhile, a stallion of a steel blue color was trotting, making his usual routine walk from the Quill and Ink shop, having run out yet again due to his writings and his black Parasprite, Nox finding reason to eat it. He still was thankful for the spell that made sure it wouldn't multiply, otherwise his whole village would've been swarmed.
The grassy plain was a nice place where he usually found himself sitting and writing out tales from imagination and inspiration from the Mane Six. Right now though he had every intention just to head to his little cottage and relax. Not at all hearing wings until the shadow passed over him and he knew to quickly it wasn't just a Changeling but the new Prince, brother to King Thorax. He didn't know if he should bow or treat the other like a friend.. both? He bowed and greeted the Changeling. "Prince Pharynx, what a surprise this is."
The Prince looked over the stallion. Of course he didn't run in fear at the sight of him any more, it was a tad annoying still but the darker Changeling also preferred they stayed where they were for now. "I'm afraid I'm lost, I was on my way to find Twilight with a message and I'm afraid I got turned around."
"Ah, that happens to often considering there's not really any landmarks especially leading to Ponyville out here." His cyan and darker blue streaked tail swished about behind him. His horn losing it's glow once he lay his small package on the grass beside his hooves. "If you directions, you can keep going north towards the mountains and you will see Ponyville before Canterlot."
"Thank you, pony. Appreciate it.."
"I'm Blazing Storm"
"I have never met a unicorn such as you." Pharynx kept on the conversation, a tad curious. "Didn't know they had lion manes"
"Oh, no, I'm not a unicorn" He laughs some. "I'm a Kirin." His appearance was a bit strange still, having left the Kirin Village to explore Equestria. "I am a bit new to this land. I'm happy that I read up on Changelings recently."
"Oh, Kirin. I do find you very interesting.. and well. This may sound strange, but we have a custom with ponies." His ears lower and he pretends to look a bit embarrassed before continuing. "We eat them. To take some of their love"
Storm was taken back by this. Changelings eat ponies? He didn't hear about that before. But this came right out the Prince's mouth and he looked a bit sad. "O-Oh. Well, who am I to judge what you must do. You did feed on love before from what I remember"
"Yes, now we don't need as much of it." His wings fold into the shell on his back, finding no need to use them at the moment. "I'm told it's a very nice experience from those that I take the love from."
"Um.. are you implying you want me to be eaten?"
"Well, I am hungry and it is such a long journey. It's alright if you say no, this is a awkward way to introduce myself."
The Kirin didn't understand the custom at all. But the Prince had a point, it was a long way to Ponyville. "If it's only for a little while and it doesn't hurt." He couldn't believe he just offered himself so easily.
Pharynx on the other hoof wanted to snicker. Ponies usually had some suspicion before he ate them, this Kirin was more naive than a grub. "I suppose dinner is served then" He playfully half joked.
Storm blushed some. "S-so, how do I make it easy on both of us, your Majesty?"
"You are in a hurry. Hold out your front hooves. Sit and when I'm half way down you can stretch out your back hooves."
Specific as can be, still the Kirin did as he was told and held out his hooves, seeing a reddish glow along his antlers that magic held his hooves in place so he wouldn't lose balance or pull away.
Pharynx's jaws opened wide and took the hooves into his maw, his tongue like a snake's wrapped around the hooves, tasting the flavor. The love was similar, but had a spice to it. The pony in general was a whole different flavor than anypony he'd had before. He loved it and he wanted to admit that he was a tad greedy, since he swallowed down the hooves so quickly that he forgot about the whole pony that was attached.
Storm's hooves entered the mouth and it was so warm and wet in the maw while the throat was tight, he felt some pressure that was a gulp as his hooves were swallowed up. The red magic around his hooves moving up his legs as he watched in fascination as the Changeling ate him alive.. and the thought crossed his mind, if anypony would happen upon this strange moment? He blushed more at the thought, not understanding why he was both scared and almost wanting it. To tell somepony that he was just helping the Changeling Prince, not once thinking that this was a one-way trip.
The predator was enjoying the willing new dinner that was disappearing more and more into his maw. He had the same thought since they were in the open in broad daylight. He probably could've waited until they were somewhere private, but his stomach wanted the new creature now and he couldn't deny it now that the hooves and legs were descending down his throat and towards his stomach. He had realized the horn may cause some problems.. would that stop him though? Hadn't before, it won't now.
The Kirin was eaten slowly alive, his hooves finding a more open area which he guessed was the stomach. Their noses touching which made him nearly want to burst into flame then and there. Was he smitten with Pharynx? He wasn't sure, still he held back the need to become a Nirik, more worried that he'd accidentally burn the Changeling. The jaws widen, showing slightly sharp fangs along with more flat teeth for a moment as he took in the pony's nose and winked at him. "Wha-" He didn't get the chance to finish as Pharynx swallowed his legs down and his head was engulfed in wet darkness that soaked his mane.
There was preciseness. He was used to unicorn horns, a Kirin's horn was longer and rubbed against the roof of his mouth. He had to carefully make sure the meal wouldn't get second thoughts and try to harm his mouth. His magic helping with that as he pulled the Kirin's body up, making his head re-position much to the muffled confused neighs in his mouth. As for the wink, oh he knew that the Kirin oh so quickly crushed on Pharynx, he was an attractive prince so it wasn't uncommon to be complimented as such by all his prey's gender. The wink was also playful but really it was one of the only goodbye's he can make to the delicious food that was happily being swallowed down.
The horn and the head began the safe travel down his throat as Storm whimpered at the smell and also lack of oxygen within the Changeling that hadn't lowered his body down, carefully he did was he had been told, even in midair he stretched out his back hooves best he could.. it was noticeable that he was getting eaten quicker this way with the help of gravity.
Pharynx was trying to savor his meal, but with the open plains, it made him a tad paranoid he'd be found out. So sadly he'd have to speed up the Kirin's final adventure. Gravity helped him swallow his prize, his abdomen bulging out more and more with the Kirin.
The scales and fur were so new but helped him. The legs slowly following the body and the tail was moving quickly about was almost cute, how it wiggled about along with the rest of the Kirin that was inside of him. With the closing of his jaws, the final slurp of the tail, and the last big audible gulps, Blazing Storm settled inside the stomach that was now larger and sometimes some shapes of hooves shown.
Dragging himself was tough, but he made sure he at least got off the path. and hid most of himself in the grass. To any creature passing, he was just resting, only if they closely inspected would they see the obvious pony shaped bulge that was still wiggling. He let out a burp and oddly had some fire come out. "Hmm?" He shrugs and strokes his full belly with his hoof. "Ponies and Kirins are so tasty as they are stupid" He chuckled. A muffled noise that sounded like either a reply or a question was heard. "I will let you out in no time" He spoke louder.
The wiggling stopped as the Kirin seemed to make himself comfortable and relaxed, the lack of air getting to him and making him sleepy, of course Pharynx would let him out. Slowly he began to find more and more reason to doze off.
"You were so great, I'd just love to meet other Kirin." He received no reply which made him chuckle. He will provide a lot of love like they all do and he fell asleep finally.
Waking up later in the night, his gut still quite full of what was once a foolish Kirin, Pharynx began his trip back towards the hive. Slowly what was Blazing Storm's love and body will become energy and nourishment for the Changeling, and he wouldn't have to Patrol for a month or so.
