GIMP is terrible with tablets I've found. It's best used as its name, "Image Manipulation"

Anthro-ish because of the way her legs and hooves bend? Because those look kinda weird and un-pony to me. =/

It was indeed intentional. Unfortunately I didn't get the look I was going for. But I just wanted to test out a style of shading really.
