This story is based upon the Sonic.exe game/story, but with a little… twist.

Miles “Tails” Prower, a small fox with two tails that he uses to fly with, lands on the ground and stumbles forward into the green grass, dizzy from the long flight he had to take to get over a river. The fox pulls out a tracker as a blue dot and a yellow dot are spaced out from each other.

Tails: Sonic must be close… Damnit, why is my bro here, out of all places?

Before the fox starts ahead, he looks back to see that there’s no green behind him anymore, only grey. He blinks, and it’s back to normal.

Tails: The fuck was that… I guess my retinas are unstable like always. Screw these lenses of contact, I should’ve brung my glasses…

Tails shakes his head and starts to walk forward. After a few minutes of walking, he notices that it’s all flat ground, with trees in a straight line.

Tails: Odd… shouldn’t there be loops and higher places to jump up to around? What the hell are you doing here, Sonic…

Tails keeps walking forward as he suddenly starts to use his tails to bolt forward.

Tails: SONIC! WHERE ARE Y- Ahhhh!

Tails trips over something as he falls on his stomach, getting up with some tear marks running down his face as he turns around to see a gutted rabbit, with only it’s outer shell remaining

Tails blinks again and the rabbit hops away, limped but alive

Tails: There’s no way that just happened. I just saw that rabbit dead, and now it’s alive? Damnit, am I in a coma and being used as bait by Robotnik again?

Tails starts seeing more and more deceased animal corpses, just to blink and see them scurry away. He panics as he suddenly comes across a blue figure.

Tails: OH MY GOD, SONIC! HEY, IT’S ME! TAILS!

Tails steps forward, at a slow pace

Tails: Why did you leave off at such a short notice? Why am I seeing these animals be dead, then suddenly come back to life? Sonic…

As tails is in arm length of “Sonic”, the figure turns his head slightly and snaps, Tails’s vision suddenly going black, then white, then red as he is dropped into Angel Island, but it’s on fire. The fox jumps up and looks around, terrified out of his mind.

Tails: Oh god… WHY AM I ON ANGEL ISLAND? WHY IS IT BURNING?? Oh god, where is sonic and knuckles…

Tails starts to visibly cry as he walks forward, trying to find any other path he can go, as he suddenly hears what sounds like footsteps, followed by a huge tornado behind him as he looks around and sees Sonic, but now has a red eyeball with a glint to it, and some blood coming down the eyes.

Tails: That’s not Sonic… oh no… RUN!

Tails jolts forward, but keeps looking back and seeing the fake scary hedgehog edge closer to him. Suddenly, Tails is knocked forward and onto his knees and stomach, scraping his knees and hurting his body. He sits up and starts to cry as he looks down at his scraped and sprained knees. With no introduction, the sound of a coin pick up is heard as Tails looks up to see the figure himself standing there. As the figure reaches his hand up, tails gets scared and cries even more. When the figure sharply pushes that same hand towards him, he screams out and closes his eyes. When he opens them, all of the trees have went back to normal and are not on fire. He also sees that same figure, now down on one knee, looking at the fox.

Sonic.exe: Little one, I am Sonic. But I’m not. You see, Sonic has been took over per say, and I’m in his body.

Tails, sniffling: W-Why did you take over Sonic?

Sonic.exe: I noticed just how fast this hedgehog really is. He also really has come to bond with you, which is very cute. I should’ve took over you, but… I would’ve took away the power which will set me and your “brother” free. As you might’ve seen, you have the power to remove previous harm done by me. Not only can you change the scenery around you, but you can change me, and set your friend free, along with me. The problem is, your friend will be sent to an unknown location. I do notice you have a tracker, though.

Tails: Yeah, I secretly implanted it in Sonic so I can see where he is, Incase of an emergency.

Sonic.exe: Your such a good fox… if you didn’t have the mouth of a drunken sailor. My god lad, you literally cuss at the world and then some.

Tails, looking down and sighing: Yeah, I tend to be very upset when Sonic is not around.

Sonic.exe: Well, go ahead, blink at me.

Tails, scared but doing anything for the safety of his bro, blinks as the blood around Sonic.exe’s eyes is completely gone. Tails checks his tracker and sees that Sonic didn’t get too far away.

Tails: Would you look at that…

Tails’s ears and tails perk at that comment as he remembers the times he purposefully got in trouble to get spanked
