This turtle here is my most longest time love, comfort and support/supporter <3 Old future Raphael appeared first time (to me, personally) in TMNT Adventures comic issue #42, which was published in 1993. Back then I was 7yo and I remember starting to like/love him instantly when I saw him. And I bet I will love him to the day I die <3

My God, he's been special to me the last 25 years!! Where all those years have gone?!

I love the paradoxical title.

Forgive me my lack of knowledge of some words and their meanings. I never haven't been a fan of learning a meaning of long and difficult words :'D I prefer simple and common words, instead. I literally had to Google what paradoxical mean and then check what it means in Finnish. And if I understood right, it made me confused. How come the title is paradoxical? If you don't mind explaining it to me, that is :)

I usually always give him "Old future Raphael" title with a date because I suck at making titles, especially to him. And him I want to keep calling as "Old future Raphael" as well :)

Taiteesi on erinomainen tietenkin. Mutta joskus haluan lähettää huomautuksia tai vitsailla. Tein selitys auttaa? En ole kovin taitava, sosiaalisesti.

It's okay! You can write to me in English, that won't be a problem. There, however, might come situations where I get confused by some words, so I hope you don't mind it if I come back at you often, asking what this or that word means, ahah :D I have used Google Translate a lot and I have been okay with it. Without it, actually, my English would be most horrible, ahah. It has taught me a lot of how to write English, what words means etc. (because English lessons didn't interest me at school)

I thank you for the tip of buying that translator, but I'm jobless so I need to see what I buy so that I have money for food to myself and cats after rent and bills. Aahh, I think I might understand now what you're saying and I'm happy it makes you smile :) And don't worry, I wasn't offended or anything! I just got confused (like I do a lot :'D). I'm not very social either, so don't worry! ^^

Do not worry about asking me about English words or grammar. Language is tricky. I'll be glad to help.

The online translator I used was free. How did I do? I am totally clueless to Finnish grammar, so I have no idea if I got the order of the words correctly, or if I ended up reading like Yoda.

And again, your art is wonderful.

Thank you, I shall remember that and ask help / explanation when needed :)

Aaah, the translate, in Finnish said "Osta Web paremmin kääntäjä ohjelmia." which, translated to English, is "Buy Web better translator programs." That's why I said I can't buy it :'D But otherwise translation was good! Some wrong word forms, yes, because Finnish has way too many forms to one words :'D

For example if I would write in translator "I go to my car.", it would (most surely) translate it as "Minä menen auto." Minä and menen are in correct form, but auto is not. It should be "autolle" or "autolleni."

Another example how nice our language is;
Said versions.
I - Minä
To me - Minulle
For me - Minulle
From me - Minulta and also minusta
Mine - Minun
I have - Minulla on
I had - Minulla oli
I think this is good idea - Minusta (I think) tämä (this) on (is) hyvä (good) idea.

Asked versions.
I / me? - Minäkö?
To me - Minullekko?
For me - Minullekko?
From me - Minultako? / Minustako?
Mine - Minunko?
What I think? - Mitäkö ajattelen? (there are times when a word I is not in the sentence, because it's "melted" in the word think. Like; I think - Ajattelen. it can be said minä ajattelen as well. Both ways are correct.)

Also "I told you so" would be "Minähän (I) sanoin (told you so)".
But yeah, our language is tricky and literally all words have, more or less, many many forms.

I can see how tricky your language is just from the small sampling you gave.
"To me" and "for me" are the same word, in both Said and Asked versions. Tricksy.

And in English we have a specific term for a phrase that counters itself: Oxymoron. The examples I gave, as well as the title of this submission, are oxymorons.

Finnish usually scares many people because of that reason :'D We have 15 different grammatical case so it doesn't make it any easier. We also don't have words he or she. We call both / all genders simply 'hän', sometimes even "se" (it). Like "S/He didn't take anything. " "Hän ei ottanut mitään." and "S/He ran that way!" "Se juoksi tuonne!" But usually just hän. Se is used more on pets, but it can be used on humans too, but rarely.

but... his left eye is missing
NeiNing
4 years, 11 months ago
Because it really is missing. He lost his left eye when he fought against the Shredder, Verminator-X and Armaggon. Future Raphael explains this to his younger version in a comic, issue number 42. You can read it, for free, here -> https://readcomiconline.to/Comic/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-T... (he starts to explain the event on comic's page 17)

A future when a time he though he was great until that unfaithful night... The Sakura bloom is a reminder of Japan he loved the most... Umeko is the one he lost the most....

Those are not sakura bloom / flowers in the pic, sorry :D I just drew other pink flower pedals fly in the wind since they fitted in the art by the color. And what comes to Ninjara (I prefer that name to her), in my opinion she was okay to Raphael, but Mezcaal is the best for him <3 She and Ninjara have completely different feeling energies / auras and based on that, Mez is more suitable for Raphael since her energy / aura is in the same line with Raphael's :)
MegaManstitch87

Yeah but still... I love her more then Mez.

Oh my gosh, hihihihi...! You are making me so happy! >///u///> I try to mimic their original look as much as possible, but at times it's difficult because I haven't draw them all that much :'D I absolutely will draw more when I can! After all they are much more familiar childhood turtles to me than anyone else :)
