"What's going on!? Stop it!"
Kimiko ignored the shouts and pleas for help coming from behind her. Instead, she smiled to herself as her tails enfolded the girl. This had been a lucky find.
It wasn't often that one found a human with enough spiritual power to become a kitsune's tail. Kimiko's other three tails (not counting the one she was born with, of course) were other kitsune, ones that Kimiko had overpowered or caught off guard. But overpowering another kitsune was dangerous, so when a human with enough power showed up, no one could blame Kimiko for jumping at the opportunity. The human girl didn't know how to use her power, so she couldn't really fight back; she was basically a free meal.
The girl was still struggling, of course, trying to claw her way out Kimiko's embrace, even as the tails wrapped around her. The human's shouts became muffled as Kimiko's tails formed a tight cocoon, obscuring the girl from view. Occasionally the ball of fur would wiggle slightly as the girl trying to pry her way out of her furry prison, to no avail.
The struggling continued for a few minutes, gradually slowing as time went on. Finally, it stopped entirely, and Kimiko realized that the process had finished. With a soft rustle, her tails unfolded, fanning out to reveal her new, fifth tail.

Kimiko ran her tongue across her lips, savoring the flavor of the girl's spiritual energy -- it was different from a kitsune's, exotic, unique. She turned her upper body and reached back, pulling the new tail in front of her and holding it in her arms.
"Don't worry," she said, her voice soothing. "You're part of something greater now, and I don't plan to ever let you go. I know you're scared, but I'll keep you as safe and happy as I can." She ran her fingers through the soft fur, caressing the curves of her tail the way one might caress a lover. "And just wait until I brush you! I understand that is very pleasurable for a tail."
Still smiling, Kimiko began her walk home. She wanted to brush her new addition right away.
After all, a happy tail is a healthy tail!
