I sometimes like to entertain this kind of crossover, figure out which ponies would best fit into characters of other series, in this case, Ruby and Rumble as Gon and Killua. I mostly never do anything with it, but Hunter X Hunter is one of my favorite anime and I wanted to draw something related, so I drew this.
I actually started this picture back when the most recent Hunter X Hunter anime ended, back in 2014. Sat on it for a long while as I wasn't too happy with some parts, eventually managed to fix it, but never got around to uploading it. It's old and the style is pretty outdate, but here it is now.
I certainly recommend it, I rank it as high as Made in Abyss. Just be warned that if you end up reading the manga, you'll have to wait a very long time for new chapters as it spends more time in hiatus than in publication.
