Chapter 1
The Meeting of Two Worlds
May the Warmth of the All-Mother guide you all Pony and Fur alike
It had been 3 weeks scene the 3 of us had come down to the surface in that time we had lured a lot about how the world worked down here for one out gold bits we had were useless for the most part some places would take them but not many
However, we came to find out that bottle caps were what we needed now so any caps we find we kept but there were also dangers out there like Radiation and we know it as Flux but down here it’s known as taint
But one of the worst things we found out were the machines from small ones the size of a pony to ones as big as our home
On the day I was looking around the place we called home well the places we called home driving down the rode in Rain Storms buggy that he had rebuilt was so much fun but as I was driving my pip buck chimed and text appeared in my vision
“Rim Rock” okay so this lowers part of Willows Meadow was Rim Rock this place was rocky not really any trees to speak of lots of scrub brush and a few homes that look to be intact picking up the radio I called home
“Hay Rain looks like our home just got a lot bigger theirs a place called Rim Rock just down the way from Willows Meadow and looks like the wall that whoever it was who set it up goes all the way down here as well”
I say and cleared the mic so Rain can reply “good to hear Page now get your flank back home Eric just made Pancakes and Hash Browns “ he says as my stomach rumbles “okay I will be right back just need to look at the lower gate”
A few minutes later getting out of the buggy I pulled out my binoculars and started scanning from the top of the wall close to the gate not seeing anything I started to make my way down the ramp when I heard a scream not far from the wall running back up to the top
I started looking for the source of the scream when I saw beams from magical energy weapons coming from a gully close by making a snap dishing I ran to the bottom of the ramp and opening the gate
And running for the gully as the radio on my barding came to life “Page are you there we heard a scream ?” keying the mic “yeah Rain I’m fine I think somepony’s in trouble down in that gully “ I say as I enter the gully herring more weapons fire
As I ran I heard some new sound’s the roars of a Ravager mix with the sounds of a bow firing as fast as whoever it was could notch an arrow rounding a corner I came to the battel seeing dead Watchers on the ground and a dead Saw Tooth as well
Summoning my shield and Engine Blade ready to lend a hoof in this fight I felt a thump as some on landed right next to me turning my head my heart skip a beat there next to me was the most beautiful mares I had ever seen
Her mane was a soft red like the flam of a camp fire her eyes a pretty Green Gray she turned and saw me our eyes meeting moving my eyes to the Ravager I saw it’s own magical energy weapon p powering up
Moving in front on the mare I put my shield up as the weapon fired it hit the shield as the power was taken and stored looking over my shoulder “i’m here to help”
ohhhhh horse apples that sounded so much cooler in my head but I had no time as the mare came up on my right side and held up an looking cross bow held in her violet magic field and fired 3 shots into the Ravager the shots were steel cables that she hot back into the ground tying it down
looking on at the trapped Ravager I here a new voice “you got it miss Aloy now we just need to shut it down “ the new voice says as I see Aloy’s eyes go wide “wait Ember Shade the only way to shut this things down is to destroy their”
I chimed in rushing in dismissing the Engen Blade and calling up the Drain Lance and aiming for the Ravagers power cell on it’s back
“you have to hit their power cell first “ I say jumping up onto of the Machine’s back and stabbing down into the power cell as it bucked hard and slumped forward held up by the cables
Getting off the Machine and standing next to Aloy she looked at me and nodded “gutsy move stranger but happy for the help didn’t know this Ravager was acting as back up for this pack of Watchers “ she says looking at the dead machine’s
She was right from all that I had read about the Machines of this valley from the wasteland survival guide I was deep in thought and did not notice that we were joined by 4 new comers tell one of them sat down right next to me and used there long tail to poke me in the cheek
“well well nice to meet a fellow gear head and a cute one at that” the female voice says as I turn my head with the midnight black furred face of a tiger but I also saw that her face fur was not all black there were 3 strips on her forehead the color of a camp fires ember’s
She got me into a warm hug and that’s when I took note of just how soft her fur was or um……how busty she was for a cat on her lower belly even with her odd gray full body jump suit with yellow around the collar of the jump suit
“Ember come on you can save that for later we still have work to do” came a new female voice turning my head I saw a new tiger this one was a bit bigger than the one hugging me right now who I know now was named Ember
“ohhhh come on Black Mane he’s such a cute Unicorn he even has a black mane just like you oh and look he even has a stable jumpsuit on as well but…..hold on WM? I have never heard of that Stable before” the tiger named Black Mane came over her gray jumpsuit was the same as Ember’s but hers had red around the collar instead of yellow
I felt Ember set me down on the soft stand of the gully as the dull yellow and black striped tiger named Black Mane came over to me “I’m really sorry about Ember Shi can be a bit of a well handful” as I catch my breath my ear’s go up at the Black Manes words
As two new cats show up one was a tiger like Black Mane and Ember Shade her fur was a deep blue with tiger strips the color of star light same for her mane that was a mix of both star and moon light in color
the other was a gray Snow Leopard the rosettes on her body was a mix of black and light gray and comes over and gives Ember Shade a lick to the cheek “come on Ember lets get what we came for” the new cat says and sees me as her own cheeks blush
“oh I’m sorry I did not see you there I’m Chakat Moon Shard nice to meet you um…” she says with her paw out "I’m Page…..Page Turner” I say clasping her paw with my hoof she smiles “that’s a very nice name Page “
Sometime later, the five of us were eating pancakes and hash browns back home laughing and talking as if we were all old friends in a way it felt like we were friends it was new to me for most of my life all I had was mom dad Rain and Eris
Well now, I had made some new friends and maybe more I was finding it hard not to stare at Aloy she was amazing strong willed it was easy to see that she had grown up in the valley she must of seen many things
That night our five gusts stayed the night with us we only had one guest room so Aloy was bunking with me and I was getting to see this new side of her she had her two adorable pet birds out one was green with red wings and the other was gold and white
Both of them had such pretty songs the cute green and red on was sitting on the tip of my horn tweeting away to Aloys soft giggles “hehe Emerald come on get off Pages horn” she says holding out her hoof
later on the two of us snuggled close to each other as we watch one of my movies I had taken with me from out home and some that I found in the homes Aloy was enjoying them having never seen a movie before or had popcorn
as the ending credits rolled I saw Aloy getting up as I smiled at her “hehe you may want to wait Aloy I know theirs something cool coming up in the credits and after them as well”
she looked at me quizzical “but the movies over BJ won he got the plan’s the allies now know were Skull Face’s base is right?” she says and I nod “yes he did get them but you may get an insight into the next movie hehe”
She smiles and gets back on the bed cuddling close to me “Page…..d….do you like me?” she says looking up at me her head resting on my chest the bit of fluff reminding me that I needed a trim soon but I nodded “yes I do like you Aloy your so pretty strong and just all around amazing”
I say my cheeks growing warm as she blush’s too as we watch the first mid credits scene it showed BJ coming out of a bunker in full Equestrian army gear a head set on his wolf pony head as he entered a
Large bomber aircraft as it took off into the blue sky fallowed by hundreds of other bomber’s flying off into the sun set looking down I saw Aloy’s eyes go wide
As the rest of the credits rolled, she looks up at me eyes still wide smiling down at her I gave her a kiss on the noes causing her to blush she got over her shock faster then I thought and kissed me back before turning back to the tv as the last scene started
The cam paned around to show a wolf in a lab coat his face covered in scars two notch’s cut into both of his pointed wolf ears steel gray eyes “so did you find it?” the wolf says turning to a pair of armed and armored wolfs their faces were coved by meatal visors
The both of them nodded in unison “yes doctor we were able obtain all the items you requested of us” the two spoke in that same unison as the scared up doctor nodded “good now go leave me to my work” he says as the screen fades to black and the worlds “The New Order”
Aloy had that same wide eyed look as we got ready for bed she had slipped into Eris’s night shirt and I was just in my short having taken my stable jumpsuit barding off
“wow that was an awesome movie Page thanks for showing it to me um…….d….do you happen to have the one that comes after that one would you?”
I smile and nod floating the other 4 films and side story’s over to here she looks at me “where did you find all of this?” I smile “my dad had a few of them but I found the others in some of the homes you would be amazed at what you can find in them”
Aloy gave me a sly smile “well your in luck Page I know a new place close by that you and I can go and see maybe we can find more movies for us to watch” she says with a smile as I smile as well “hehe well looks like I made you into a movie fan Aloy”
She smiles and comes over to me as I got into the pull away bed having giving my bed to Aloy as she sat down next to me “oh I’m more than just a movie fan now Page I think I found my new hunting partner now come to bed it’s late”
Raising an eye brow “I’m already in bed……oh..oh…you mean…..” my cheeks were bright red as she nodded “yes hunting partners share everything food clotting even beds “ she says getting into my bed and holding the sheets up for me to join her
