After finding some model sheets of Care Bears and buying a 6 disc set of 64 episodes of the Care Bears Nelvana tv show, I have been in quite a mood for them then I have been for some time now. and with that, comes a new drawing featuring Care-A-Lots resident cubs, Baby Hugs and Baby Tugs.
This one did turn out rather decently. Not to sure I like the muzzle on tugs though, looks more like a bird beak. Not to mention I didn't draw them exactly like the show style with them being a bit thinner and taller then the model I used http://www.oasidelleanime.com/minisiti/orsetti/model/o... But for a first time doing this, I think it turned out pretty good, but what about you guys, what do you think?

I never grew up with the series, to be honest. I first watched the show by staying up late the whole night back in the late 90's early 2000s as a kid and watching on Toon Disney. That's where I first saw it in rerun form (how ironic it ends up on the channel owned by the company that made Gummi Bears, its own bear related show) But I didn't think to much after the fact.
My next exposure to it happen to be in the 2000s after my half sister Savannah (my dad's daughter) was born and she got a few Care Bear related toys during their resurgence that came with VHS tapes and some of the recently released DVDs where I saw episodes like "Tugs the Brave" "Sleeping Giant" and "Camp Out" I definitely enjoyed those at the time. But it had to of been at the time when I learned of the Care Bears being babies that I took a huge interest in it in Care Bears Movie 2. Yea, looking at the movie nowadays, it wasn't a great film, but their were moments in it I liked and it still holds a place in my heart for getting me into the fandom a few years later on DeviantArt. I owe it all to CBM2 and early exposure in the 2000s for my love of the show.
