A troll and a dwarf enjoying a game of Thud!

I just finished a re-read of Thud! by Terry Pratchett and decided to draw a little sketch of a young couple of unlikely friends enjoying a game together ^^

In the game of <i>Thud!</i> you have two sides - the dwarves and the trolls. 31 dwarves who can move in any direction for as many squares as they can and 8 trolls that can move only 1 square at a time. One game consists of two matches and to win you must be able to play both sides. For dwarf and troll players that would mean to be able to think both as their own kind and as the opposing side. Many aspiring players dress like their counterparts to help them get into the proper mindset.
