Sonic 2 - Chemical Plant (console mashup remix)

Skate or Die! (FM Adlib remix)
mike004_sonic_2_chemical_plant___console_mashup_remix.mp3
by mike004
This remix was actually a request for AcaiathFoxx (on furaffunity) who was asking for a remix of the Chemical Plant level from "Sonic the Hedgehog 2".

I've done a console mashup remix, using some real instrument soundsets (Rock Organ and Saxophone) and bassline, drums and aditional voices from the Mega Drive / Genesis.

Hope ya like it :)

Excellent and great job with the fade out at the end, this is my favorite track in the Sonic 2 game. With this track you took me back to my teens when I played this game regularly.

You're quite welcome ^^
I wasn't a teen at that time myself... only a boy at the age of 8 or 9 :P
Glad i could kick you back into a time when video games were a lot more special than today.

I do enjoy playing some of today's games too. For playing the games of days gone by it is possible to play them through emulators. And even game services such as Steam has some of the classic Sega games such as the 16-bit era Sonic games and Shinobi games. I did buy a few of those through Steam for a very cheap price when they were having a sale.

I can call myself lucky for still having my original consoles and game catridges :3
But yea, i also bought some of the recent re-releases. For example, i bought the mega Drive collection for my PSP.
