When I returned to Amaria after leaving Prof. Skyfire with his friends and loved ones in Equestria, I had hoped that the thoughts that were rushing through my head would've passed. But, I was far off from letting go what I had learned on my trip: me, the Living Paradox? Everywhere I have been in the multiverse so far has spoke so coldly about the Living Paradox, about this mysterious entity would be the cause of the end of everything, and that was me. And what makes it worse: the Living Paradox is an entity that should not exist. It makes sense that it would be me. I am a Saiyan after all, but it is a known fact that the only pure-blooded Saiyans that exist now are Vegeta and my older brother Goku. …..What does that make me then? WHAT THE HECK AM I? And what's worse is that…..she knew. Everyone knew….
Retsu materialized next to Sonic and Tails who stood on the outside of the Celestial Office doors and said, "Is he still in there?" Sonic and Tails frowned slightly and nodded as Sonic said, "Ever since Allen returned home from Equestria a few days ago, he hasn't stepped foot outside of his office. And check it out: he has his office sealed off as well." Retsu stared at the doors as a white barrier flashed in front of the trio, the Sacred Seal sitting in between the doors as she said, "As long as that barrier is up, that office is completely cut off from the entire world. Even I cannot enter it, no matter how hard I try." Tails sighed as he said, "I feel so guilty over this, guys. Allen was so angry when he returned here after he found out the truth of the Living Paradox. I've even heard from Nana that he hasn't been eating either. He always leaves the house before she wakes up, without a single warning."
Sonic patted Tails on the shoulder and said, "It's going to be alright, little buddy. He just needs some time to himself, that's all." Retsu looked at the two Mobians when Sonic said that, then back at the doors as she thought, 'Allen…if only I could tell you how sorry I am from keeping this from you.'
Meanwhile, on the other side of the doors….
I sat down in my chair and stared at Trixie slightly, my mind lost to the many thoughts that rushed through it. 'The Living Paradox….huh. To think, I am even more of an oddball than I thought I was. Why? Why did you choose me of all people, Trixie? Why?', I thought silently. I looked over to my right to see Yami Allen floating next to me as I said, "I thought I asked to be left alone for right now, Yami." Yami nodded as he said, 'You did, but that was three days ago, partner. Don't you think it is time to rejoin your friends and family?' I frowned slightly as I said, "How can you even say that? How can I call them friends or family after learning this? I shouldn't even exist, Yami! None of them even have a single idea who the heck I am and would've lived their lives normally if I wasn't here! What if all the problems the multiverse is dealing with would still be happening if I wasn't born?" Yami frowned as he said, 'Don't even speak like that! Everyone here in Amaria loves you so much and they wouldn't have things any other way!'
I sighed as I said, "I don't know, Yami. I just feel like the entire multiverse is just trying to warp everything around us just to make it suitable for me to live in. It feels wrong." Yami went silent as I said that, I immediately yawned as I stretched my office chair back and said, "I think I need a quick nap. Maybe that'll be just what I need to get over this." Yami nodded as he returned to his room within the Puzzle, leaving me alone in the office as I dozed off at my desk.
As I finally relaxed to a good rest, it happened once again: the Dimensional Shout. It was quick, but enough for me to see a few images in my mind….
'Where….am I?', I thought to myself, finding myself in a mysterious place surrounded by dust clouds. 'Hello?! Is anyone there?', I yelled out loud, not getting an answer in reply. I looked around at my surroundings, seeing nothing but an empty black void. I immediately looked up and my eyes widened to see two people above me, both of them very familiar to me. 'Wait, that's….! RETSU! ARUFUNU!', I thought as I saw Retsu being held by the neck by the Amaria Shadow, seeing that oh-so familiar cold grin on his face. "Well, looks like it is just you and me this time, Celestian! I said I would return to finish what I started, but to think, the best way of making sure that the Aelitatrix Bearer is long gone is to kill you right here, right now!" Retsu wheezed and gagged slightly as she grasped at Arfunu's hands, unable to pry them from her neck, Arufunu chuckling slightly as he said, "This is so precious: I get to watch the life in your eyes fade while your precious savior watches helplessly, not able to do anything to stop me!" What shocked me the most was when Arufunu looked immediately at me when he said that, staring directly into my eyes as he said, "Amaria SHALL fall, and everything shall perish with the death of the Last Celestian!"
'Arufunu, don't do it!', I said, reaching out my left hand in front of me, my eyes widening as I saw that Trixie was not latched to my wrist. Arufunu laughed loudly as I looked at my wrist and said, 'W-What? Trixie, where are you?! Trixie, where'd you go?!' Arufunu grinned as he tossed Retsu into the air, she yelled loudly as Arufunu followed in pursuit with the Dark Resign, my eyes widening in horror as he inched closer and closer for the killing strike. 'No…no, stop! Don't do it, Arufunu!' I immediately looked down and said, 'Yami, we have to save Retsu!' My eyes widened as I noticed that the Millennium Puzzle was no longer around my neck as well, but instead, I saw the blade of Arufunu's Keyblade sticking out of my chest. I coughed as a large splatter of blood landed in my hands as Arufunu whispered and said, "No one can save you, Savior of Amaria: not your so-called spiritual friend, not Retsu, not Sonic or any of those you call friends! I shall kill them off one by one, then I shall move on to every citizen in the multiverse!"
My eyes widened in pure horror as Arufunu laughed loudly, my hands immediately covering my ears as his laugh continued to ring in my ears as I said, 'No….no….stop this! PLEASE! STOP THIS NOW!' As I yelled, the laugh came to a stop suddenly. When I opened my eyes, I found that I was in yet an entirely different location once again. I immediately placed a hand on my chest and sighed softly as I felt the Millennium Puzzle sitting comfortably in my hand. I then looked down at my left wrist and saw Trixie in her proper place and said, 'Ok….ok, everything is back to normal. Was that a Dimensional Shout I just saw? If that is the case then…..Retsu's life is in danger, and I'm going to be completely helpless to do anything about it! Some savior I am! Arufunu is going to destroy everything again, and I was incapable of doing anything! I need…..I need…I need to get stronger!'
When I said that, a loud explosion was heard around me. I looked around, then I immediately looked down to see a complete shock….
My eyes widened as I saw two beings fighting above Earth: one that I had no idea who it was, but the other was definitely recognizable from his iconic spiky hair. 'That's….GOKU! But wait, why is he glowing red? Is he using Kaioken or something?' As I floated closer to the two fighters, the mysterious being said, "Well well, I am very impressed with this little spar of ours, Son Goku. So this is the strength of a Super Saiyan God….however, I can sense that this new form of yours still has plenty of potential behind it." Goku chuckled slightly as I said, "You really think so, huh? The power behind this form is quite remarkable if it is able to allow me to fight with you, Lord Beerus." My eyes narrowed as I thought, 'Lord Beerus? That name rings a bell for some reason….where do I recall hearing it from?' Beerus grinned slightly as he said, "You Saiyans have an insatiable hunger to get stronger. You could even become a God of Destruction at the rate you are going." Goku shook his head as he said, "God of Destruction? No way. I can never be too prepared for what troubles may happen on Earth, so I must get stronger." Beerus smirked as he returned to a fighting stance as he said, "Very well then. Show me more of the power of the Super Saiyan God. Do not hold back!" Goku smirked as he yelled when he flew towards Beerus once again, the two entities clashed once more as a bright light enveloped me. I gasped loudly as I woke up in a cold sweat, my surroundings returned to the inside of the Celestial Office. "What? Where?", I said in confusion as I saw Yami looking at me with worry as he said, 'Allen, are you alright?! You were trembling in your sleep and when I came to see what was wrong, you wouldn't answer me at all!'
My eyes widened when Yami said that. I placed a hand on my face as I said, "I witnessed another vision, Yami." Yami looked at me with concern as he said, "The Dimensional Shout again? Tell me, what did you see?" I frowned as my mind returned to the image of Arufunu and Retsu, my entire body trembled in fear over it. But, I knew quite well that it wasn't worth hiding my thoughts from Yami, so I immediately relayed the entire vision to him. As the entire retelling of the vision left my mouth, Yami's face quickly contorted from one of calm to one of fear and concern. He frowned as he said, "So, somewhere in the Dimensional Rift that we have never been, Arufunu ends up killing Retsu right in front of your eyes?" I nodded as I replied, '"Yes. It was awful to see. I wish it was a lie, but the Dimensional Shout never lies, so it's going to happen. And what more, I'll be powerless to stop it!" I slammed my fist hard on my desk, Yami flinching as he replied, 'Easy, Allen. Easy. Perhaps that other part of the vision may have something to do with stopping this from happening. You said something about a Super Saiyan God? What even is that?'
I frowned as I sat up in my chair and tapped away at the keyboard of my computer to look up any information of the Super Saiyan God that Nicole may have in her database, but I was shocked to see that she came up empty-handed. "There are no hits?! That has never happened before!", I stated before standing to my feet. I hopped over my desk and ran to my office doors and opened them wide, Retsu, Sonic and Tails falling into the room at my feet. "Allen, finally you came out! Everyone has been worried sick about you!", Sonic stated. "Not now, Sonic! There is a new discovery that needs my attention!", I said as I moved out of the way, Retsu grabbing my shoulder gently as she said, "Allen, I could sense what was going on in there. You had another Dimensional Shout vision, didn't you? What was it about?" I sighed softly as I removed Retsu's hand from my shoulder and said, "I just said not now, didn't I? It can wait." Retsu's eyes widened in shock as I turned from her and shouted, "GANGWAY!", before shattering into the Dimensional Rift once again.
Retsu looked at Tails coldly as she said, "Track him down. NOW!" Tails stood to his feet as he walked into Allen's office and said, "Nicole, I need Allen's precise coordinates in the Dimensional Rift and his intended point of exit right now, please!" Nicole's avatar appeared next to Tails as she said, "You'll have to forgive me, Tails. Allen's moving at a speed that is making it even hard for me to keep up with him precisely, but at a hunch, I believe I know precisely where he is going." Retsu walked in as she stated, "Where, Nicole?" Nicole looked up at the ceiling as she said, "Home. He's returning to the Kame-Sennin Dimension once again." Retsu frowned as she snapped her fingers, Mina appearing beside her as she looked at Retsu and thought, 'Where are we heading this time, big sis?' Retsu telepathically replied to the bunnygirl and said, 'To bring Allen back to Amaria, of course.' Mina nodded as she transformed back into Retsu's scythe, Retsu slashing the air in front of her as a rip into the Dimensional Rift opened up for her and stepped within, vanishing for Goku's world.
Meanwhile….
"Ka…me…..haaaa…meeee….HAAAAA!", Goku yelled loudly as he fired his iconic attack across King Kai's planet, religiously training as he usually does. King Kai grumbled angrily as he said, "Knock it off, Goku! You're going to end up destroying my planet yet again!" Goku looked over at King Kai as he said, "What did you say, King Kai? I can't hear you!" As he stated that, he yelled loudly as his attack came back around the planet and hit him square in the back. "Ouch! Man, I must be rustier than I thought if I let that hit me!", Goku exclaimed, his stomach growling loudly. "Ooh, that's definitely a sign for lunch!" King Kai sighed as he picked up a broom and said, "There's plenty of food in the fridge. Help yourself." Goku nodded as he walked into King Kai's house as King Kai sweeped around his home. As he sweeped, a voice entered his mind saying, 'Hello? King Kai, can you hear me? It's Elder Kai! It's an emergency!'
'Elder Kai, what seems to be the problem?', King Kai replied. 'As you may already know, Lord Beerus the Destroyer has woken up early from his slumber and has been causing havoc all across the universe.', Elder Kai replied. King Kai tightened the grip around his broom as he said, 'Yes, I have been sensing many planets being lost to his rampage. King Yemma has been pretty overloaded with the many beings Lord Beerus has sent down here. Why do you mention him?' Elder Kai immediately stated, 'If Son Goku is on your planet right now, get him back to Earth immediately! Beerus is heading your way right now! We all know what'll happen if Goku tries to challenge him, and we cannot let that happen!' King Kai jolted in fear at the thought of that when Elder Kai brought that up. "You're right. We definitely cannot have Lord Beerus and Goku meet. That would spell catastrophe for our entire universe!" Goku crouched next to King Kai with a look of curiosity and said, "King Kai, who is this Lord Beerus you are talking about?" King Kai yelled in shock as he looked at Goku and said, "Don't you know it is rude to eavesdrop, Goku?! Also, didn't you tell me that one of your friends was having a birthday back on Earth? Shouldn't you be there?!"
Goku's eyes blinked in confusion, but then he yelled as he realized, "Hey, you're right! It's Bulma's birthday today! Aw man, I completely forgot! Bulma's going to be so angry at me when she sees me!"
Meanwhile, back on Earth….
"What do you mean, Goku isn't coming?! I swear, those Saiyans think of nothing but training and food!", Bulma yelled loudly. Gohan bowed slightly as he said, "I'm sorry, Bulma. You know how Dad can get sometimes. Dad's going to be who he is." Bulma sighed as she said, "You know what? Whatever! This is not going to ruin my good mood! We'll just enjoy the party without him!" As she said that, a loud boat horn was heard as the cruise ship she had bought for her party continued on its path on the sea. As it continued on its way, high above the sea, a crack in the sky appeared. The crack grew larger and larger as I finally shattered my way out of the Dimensional Rift, sighing softly as I inhaled the air deeply and said, "I made it back to the Kame-Sennin universe! And it looks like it is going to be a pretty calm day today too! Now, where is Goku? I should've exited from the Rift right near him, if I got my timing right." I looked around slightly, then covered my ears immediately as a loud boat horn rang off around me. "Owww, that's loud! What was that?!", I exclaimed as I turned around, immediately coming face to face with the spire of Bulma's yacht. I groaned loudly as I pried myself off of the spire and said, "That wasn't a nice feeling..." I groaned as I fell back and rolled down the spire, yelling loudly as I said, "Hey, how do you stop this thing?! I want off the ride!" Meanwhile, down below, Goten's attention was redirected from Trunks and the mysterious three kids they fished out from the sea as he said, "Hey Trunks, did you hear that?" Trunks looked away from the three other kids and said, "Hear what, Goten? These three must be pretty hungry because all I hear are them eating!" Goten walked towards the side of the yacht and looked around rapidly as he said, "I could've sworn I heard someone yelling." As Goten continued to look, the yells grew louder as he immediately looked up and saw me as I said, "No no no no no! Stop the brakes, Allen! You're heading straight for the water! Oh Sweet Amaria, WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE WATER?!" Goten's eyes widened as he said, "Wait a minute, I know that voice! Hang on, I'm coming!" As that was said, Goten immediately jumped off the ship after me, grabbing me by the jacket as he said, "Don't worry, Uncle Allen! I got you!" My eyes blinked frantically as my nose barely stroked the water below me, sighing softly as I said, "That was too close. Wait, Uncle Allen?" Yami reformed next to me as he said, 'Allen, look who caught us!' I looked up towards the one who was holding us up in the air to come face to face with the smiling grin of my nephew Goten. "Hi, Uncle Allen! Think you can lift yourself now? You're really heavy!", Goten exclaimed. "Oh! I am so sorry, kiddo.", I replied as I floated out of his grip, my Ki finally kicking in as the two of us returned to the side of the boat that Trunks was standing nearby. "Phew, that was too close for comfort! Thanks for the save, Goten!", I replied, only to get hugged tightly by the young Saiyan. "No problem, Uncle Allen! It's great to see you again!", Goten stated. I smiled as I hugged the child back as I looked down and said, "Hey there, Trunks. How have you been?"
"Never better, Allen. What brings you back to our world?", Trunks stated. I was just about to reply when a loud yell escaped from the child sporting light blue skin. "Y-You! It's you again!", the child exclaimed. I looked down at the child as I placed Goten back on his feet. I crouched low towards the three kids and looked them over as I said, "Hmm…..you three. You seem familiar for some reason…..I just can't place why. It's been such a long time!" The young child shook his head furiously as he said, "M-Maybe I just have one of those faces! Yeah, that's it! I'm sure I've never seen you before!" I frowned as I scratched my chin and looked up at Yami and thought, 'What do you think? Any clue on who these three are, Yami?' Yami smirked as he said, 'Of course I know who they are. They may be younger, but these three are Emperor Pilaf and his lackeys Mai and Shu. I wonder why they are children though?' I frowned even deeper as I shrugged as I looked back at Goten and Trunks and asked, "So, where exactly am I, guys? I was supposed to appear right next to Goku, but after scanning the area for his power level, Goku's definitely not here."
"You're on my mom's boat, Allen. Today's her birthday, and she is holding the party out on the open seas!", Trunks stated. Goten chimed in as he said, "Yeah, everyone is here! Gohan, Mr. Piccolo, even Master Roshi and the others are here too! And there is lots of yummy food!" I smiled softly and said, "Really? Well, I may as well check in on everyone while I am here." Goten and Trunks nodded as they ran ahead of me and shouted, "Hey guys, you'll never believe who just dropped in!" Krillin looked over at the two boys as his eyes connected to mine as I walked up behind them and said, "Hey guys!" Everyone was in shock as they saw me as Gohan ran over to me and said, "Uncle Allen, you came! I didn't know you were coming!" I chuckled as Krillin walked over to me and said, "Hey, kid. Glad to see you finally up on your feet! How's everyone back in Amaria?" I looked over at Krillin and said, "They are doing great, old friend. Oh, and who is this behind you?" Krillin looked behind him as he spotted a little girl hiding behind him. He grinned as he said, "This is my daughter Marron. You remember that 18 and I had a kid together." My eyes widened as I said, "Ohhh, so this 18's daughter! Hi there, Marron." Marron looked at me and said, "Hi there, mister! Are you really Goku's little brother?" I smiled as I patted the child on her head and said, "Indeed I am." I waved my hand slightly as a lollipop appeared in it, I immediately handed it to the little girl as she accepted it with a big smile. I immediately looked over to my right and my eyes widened as I saw Vegeta standing off to himself.
"Oi, Vegeta! Hey there!", I said, Vegeta looking over to me slightly before turning away. "Hmph! So the brat came to visit. Why are you here?", Vegeta asked rudely before Bulma said, "Vegeta, no need to be rude!" I laughed as I walked over to Bulma and bowed slightly before saying, "Happy birthday, Bulma. I'm sorry I came unannounced. If I knew that today was your birthday, I would've brought a gift!" Bulma shook her head as she said, "It's quite alright, Allen. It's nice to see you again. What brings you back to our world?" I immediately looked around rapidly as I said, "Actually, I was supposed to appear in this world where Goku is, but I don't really see him anywhere. I must've missed my drop-off point by a little. Do you guys have any idea where he is?" Bulma frowned as she said, "According to Chi-Chi, he's off training on King Kai's planet! The nerve of him, he completely forgot about my birthday!" My eyes widened as I said, "Are you serious? Well, that does sound like my brother alright." I looked up to the sky and said, "I need to speak with him about something very important, so I am so sorry I cannot stay long. You understand, right Bulma?"
Bulma raised her hand to me and said, "No need to explain. You lead a very busy life, Allen, as do we all. Just make sure to come and visit again sometime, ok? This is your home away from home, after all." I nodded in agreement as I waved good-bye to Bulma and the others, immediately returning to the Dimensional Rift for my next destination.
Meanwhile, back on King Kai's planet….
Goku grinned goofily as he said, "Say, King Kai? Is that him? Is that that Beerus guy? He doesn't look that strong at all." King Kai grumbled as he smacked Goku on the head with a newspaper and said, "Show some respect, Goku! Lord Beerus is a guest!" Goku rubbed his head as the mysterious individual before him laughed softly as he said, "Well, I am quite flattered that you think that I am Lord Beerus. Sorry, but I am just his handler. My name is Whis, and this being next to me is the TRUE Lord Beerus." Goku blinked as he looked at the being next to Whis, a being who was feline in description. Goku put on a serious look as he bowed and said, "Greetings, Lord Beerus! My name is Goku, sir! It is a pleasure to meet you!" A form of sweat formed on Beerus' forehead as he said softly, "Is he really serious on this?" Whis laughed as he said, "You have to give him points for trying at least." Beerus then said, "So, Goku. You're a Saiyan, right? Tell me, does the term Super Saiyan God mean anything to you?"
"Huh? Super Saiyan God? No, that doesn't sound familiar. However, I do know plenty about Super Saiyans!", Goku said. Beerus' eyes narrowed as he said, "Really? Show me then." Goku grinned widely as he said, "Alright! I get to fight Lord Beerus!"
Meanwhile, on the way to King Kai's planet…
'Ever since I woke up, Goku and the others returned to their universe just because they wanted to check the damage after the War of Paradoxes. Honestly though, I think they were just getting a bit homesick.', I thought silently to myself within the Dimensional Rift. 'It makes sense. You never will get over the lingering thoughts of missing home.', Yami Allen stated as he materialized next to me with a worried look on his face. I frowned as he said, "That had a double meaning to it, I know you too well to know it didn't." Yami looked at me as he said, 'Retsu and the others are worried about you, Allen. They know they messed up, but you have been distancing yourself from the others. Maybe once we are done here, you should definitely sit down and talk with everyone.' I was silent when Yami said that, looking away from him as a rush of energy swept past me and the spirit. "What was that?!"
"That energy level….its Goku! He's fighting someone! But I can't sense who he is fighting!", Yami exclaimed. My eyes widened as I flew faster through the Dimensional Rift, before making my way to the entrance to King Kai's planet. Before I could exit, my heart dropped as Goku's power level drastically decreased. "Goku?!", I exclaimed, before shattering out of the rift to see Goku lying in a crater, my attention immediately darted up to his attacker. My eyes widened as I was staring back at the same individual I saw from my vision earlier today. 'T-That's him! It's that same guy! He beat Goku?', I thought to myself. 'And it looks like he hardly broke a sweat!', Yami replied as Goku coughed slightly, my attention returning to my brother and I ran over to him. "Oi, Goku! You alright?", I asked.
"Owww….man, that hurt! Huh? Oh, hey Allen. What brings you to our neck of the woods?", Goku said with a exhausted tone. Beerus landed back to the ground as he said, "I've seen enough. We apparently won't be learning about the Super Saiyan God here, Whis. Perhaps the Saiyan back down on Earth may know something about it. Although….this new power I'm sensing is a most interesting case." He opened his eyes as he looked at me, and for the second time ever in my life, I was petrified. 'W-What is this? I can't sense his energy at all! What is this guy, and how did he reduce my brother to a punching bag?!', I thought to myself as I stared back at him. Beerus frowned as he leaned in close and said, "Strange. Hey, Whis! I thought you said there was only two pure-blooded Saiyans left alive?!" Whis nodded as he walked over and said, "That is correct, Lord Beerus. There are only two pure-blooded Saiyans left alive after Frieza's destruction of Planet Vegeta. Of course, Goku here and the other have made quite a life down on Earth. They each have family, so the Saiyan heritage lives on."
Beerus frowned as he said, "Check your staff again. This boy here is a Saiyan too. My question is how is it that you got your information wrong, Whis?!" Whis put on a shocked look on his face as he held out his hand, a black staff materialized within his palm as he stared into the orb at the top of it and said, "That can't be possible. I am 100% positive there are no more pure-blooded Saiyans alive." A bead of sweat formed on my forehead as I laughed slightly and said, "Whatever powers you two may have would never register me. As far as this universe is concerned, I don't exist. I am an anomaly. But I am DEFINITELY a Saiyan, make no mistake on that." I stood to my feet as I walked up to Beerus and looked him in the eye and said, "Are you the one who did that to my older brother?"
Beerus' eyes narrowed coldly as he said, "I don't like the tone in your voice, boy. Saiyan or not, you need to realize that you are talking to a God of Destruction, and my temper is very short." When I heard that, the entire surrounding area went silent for a few seconds. I then replied, "God of Destruction?" I smirked and then busted out with a violent laugh. "Really?! Is that what you call yourself?! Sorry pal, but your friend looks more like a deity than you do!" A vein of anger appeared in Beerus' forehead as Whis laughed and said, "I guess they truly are siblings. Their manners are horrible, Lord Beerus. What is your name, child?" I frowned as I looked at King Kai help Goku to his feet, Goku immediately replying and said, "That's my little brother, Allen Henegan. I can only take an educated guess on why your information was wrong, Whis. You see, he is a Saiyan, but he doesn't live in this universe. My brother's the Aelitatrix Bearer, you see."
Beerus' eyes widened as he shouted "THIS BRAT IS THE LEGENDARY AELITATRIX BEARER?!" I yelled loudly as I clapped a hand to my ears, my ears ringing violently from the scream. "Owwwww! Careful with the volume! My eardrums would've ruptured!", I exclaimed. Beerus looked at me frantically as he said, "Its impossible! This kid's energy levels are completely in disarray! It feels like its more corrupted than anything! Oi, brat! Explain yourself!"
"My name is Allen.", I said as I removed my hands from my ears. "What did you say?", Beerus replied with a cold tone. "I didn't stutter. Destroyer God or not, I don't care for anyone who tries to act all high and mighty due to status. You want an answer from me? Ask me politely and BY MY NAME.", I stated firmly. Beerus' jaw dropped once I said that, actually in pure awe someone was talking back to him like that. Whis laughed as he said, "Do forgive him, Allen. Its just out of the ordinary to have someone speak to him as if they were equals, even if that person is just a mortal. Allow me to ask in his place, because even I am a bit confused: we can sense your energy, and it's a bit odd. Firstly, it feels like there are two energies melding into one. And secondly, it feels as if your energy level is unstable, almost incomplete in a way. Why is that?"
I crossed my arms as I said, "Whis, right? As for your questions, I think I may have a couple of ideas. First off, the reason you sense two energies is because my body houses a separate soul altogether, thanks to this." I held up the Millennium Puzzle around my neck as I continued, "This object is known as the Millennium Puzzle. Within it lives an ancient 5000-year old spirit who helps me tap into more of my power. When we are of one mind, I can fully use my powers expertly. As for your second question….I would like to say it is due to an incident that happened to me eight years ago, but even Goku and Vegeta has noticed it. This has been a problem ever since I first went Super Saiyan. They both were impressed with my strength, but my energy output felt more like I should've been in an ascended state of the Super Saiyan transformation, but I was stuck at base level. No matter how hard I try, I just can't break the limit like my brother has."
"Vegeta? You mean King Vegeta's child, correct?", Beerus stated. My eyes widened when Beerus said that. "Y-You know Vegeta?", I asked. Beerus looked at Whis and said, "So, the Prince of Saiyans survived Frieza's attack. What an interesting turn of events. Whis, we still need to go and ask him about the Super Saiyan God. Let's go!" Whis nodded as he said, "Yes, Lord Beerus." He then turned to me and said, "Your story is quite an interesting one. And I think I may know why you have such a problem. I may need more time to think on it, but I may have an idea on how to fix that problem." As Whis said that, he turned away from me as Beerus placed a hand on his back, the two vanishing in a pillar of light as they headed down to Earth. My attention then went back to Goku and said, "Are you ok, bro?"
"Yeah, just a bit banged up. Fortunately, I got some Senzu beans from Korin before I came here.", Goku replied as he said, "But man, Lord Beerus is truly something else. His power is on a whole new level." King Kai grumbled as he said, "And let me guess, you want to fight him again?" Goku smiled as he nibbled into two Senzu beans, his wounds visibly healing before us as he said, "Of course I do! Lord Beerus has shown me there is a whole new level of power that I can achieve. But still, I am curious on what this Super Saiyan God thing is that he is looking for. Hey, wait a minute! Allen, Trixie has tons of information of things in the multiverse, right? Does she have anything about the Super Saiyan God?"
I frowned as I shook my head in disagreement. "No, sorry. For the first time ever, even Trixie is stumped on this one. I can't even understand it myself. But the fact that a God of Destruction is asking questions about it must make it a big deal. I guess?"
'And yet, why do I get the feeling that this will open up a whole new world for Goku and the others? Curse my curiosity, now I want to know what this thing is!', I thought silently to myself. King Kai immediately chimed in and said, "Why are you two just sitting around here?! If Lord Beerus goes down to Earth and someone even as much as anger him, he'll destroy the entire planet!" My eyes widened when King Kai said that, Goku looking at him with a confused face as he said, "Oh come on, King Kai! He couldn't be that easy to anger." I looked at Goku and said, "We need to get to Earth! RIGHT NOW! I actually believe King Kai wholeheartedly on this!" Goku looked at me and saw the look in my eyes, then frowned as he said, "Ok, little brother. I understand you. Let's get going." I sighed slightly as Goku stood to his feet and placed a hand on my shoulder, then looked up to the sky in thought. "Oh, hey! I got an idea: we could ask Shenron if he knows anything about the Super Saiyan God!", Goku exclaimed.
"Ohhhh yeah! If anyone would know anything about it, the Eternal Dragon would! Great idea, Goku!", I stated. Goku giggled slightly as he said, "So long, King Kai! I'll come back to visit real soon!" As he said that, he placed two fingers onto his forehead, the two of us vanished by way of Instant Transmission.
Meanwhile, back down on Earth, King Kai's fears were quickly realized….
"How dare you! That's MY BULMA!", Vegeta yelled loudly as he turned into a Super Saiyan, Beerus chuckling softly as he said, "That won't do you any good. The one you all call Son Goku got to learn that first hand." Vegeta frowned deeply as he said, "Shut up! I don't give a damn! No one strikes my wife! NO ONE!" As he said that, he charged for Beerus quickly, throwing a quick flurry of punches, Beerus sighing as he rapidly dodged each one. "Is this truly the best you can do, Vegeta? Consider me disappointed." Vegeta backed away from Beerus as he floated into the air and charked up and energy blast before shouting, "GALICK GUN!" Beerus frowned as he held two fingers up in the air and fired a tiny beam, shattering Vegeta's blast as if it was nothing. Beerus yawned slightly as he said, "Well Whis, looks like we won't be finding this Super Saiyan God after all. Can I just destroy this planet now?" Whis, who was enjoying his first experience of Earth cuisine looked over at Beerus and said, "Already? Can't it wait for a couple of seconds? This thing these humans call sushi is absolutely divine, Lord Beerus!"
"Are you kidding me, Whis?! I am going to destroy this planet, so stop stuffing your face and get over here now!", Beerus exclaimed, forming a tiny orb of destruction energy in his hand. Whis sighed softly as he said, "Well, I guess that's that. But, I must simply take some of this back home with me! Could you wrap up what's left over for me, kind sir?" Whis looked at the vendor with a smile as the vendor nodded furiously in fear over everything that was happening. 'The end of the world!? What kind of weirdos hired me today?!', the vendor thought to himself as he frantically packed up all of his wares and handed them to the diety. As Whis walked over to Beerus, the destroyer god looked down on Vegeta as he said, "Well, you tried your best. But this is the end. Goodbye, Prince of the Saiyans. And say goodbye to Planet Earth!"
Before Beerus could launch his attack however, a loud yell was heard from above.
"HOLD IT, BEERUS!"
Beerus looked up as he saw Goku and I run down the spire of the ship, landing between him and Vegeta. He smirked as he said, "Well well, Goku and the Aelitatrix Bearer. This will be the second time you two have surprised me." Vegeta powered down as he looked at me and my brother, Goku smiling as he said, "Look at you, Vegeta! You're all beat up!" Vegeta's jaw dropped as he said, "Try to read the room, Kakarot! We're in a lot of trouble here!" Goku nodded as he said, "I know. With any luck, I can change that right here and now." Beerus looked at Goku and said, "Does that mean you have learned about the existence of the Super Saiyan God, Saiyan?"
Goku smiled and said, "Nope! Not a single clue!" I then chimed in and said, "We intend on calling the Eternal Dragon to help us with this tiny conundrum of ours. With Shenron's help, finding the Super Saiyan God should be a breeze." Goku nodded in agreement then walked over to Bulma and said, "Bulma, you wouldn't happen to have the Dragon Balls here on the ship, would you?" Bulma's eyes widened as she said, "They were the grand prize for the bingo tournament….wait, HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT THEY WERE ON THE SHIP?!" Goku laughed softly as a reply, only getting a frown from Bulma as she walked within the ship's interior, returning with the mystical orbs in question. Goku stood near the Dragon Balls as he said, "Ok. Shenron, rise and grant my wish!" I looked around as the sky darkened, lighting crackling around the vicinity as a loud growl was heard. I immediately looked up as I saw Shenron looking down at us as he said, "For those who have summoned me, I shall grant up to two wishes within my power. Now, speak your first wish!"
Goku smiled as Beerus stepped up and said, "Hey, dragon." That's when we all witnessed something that we never imagined possible: the look of fear on Shenron's face. "L-LORD BEERUS! Uhh….what brings you here? S-Shouldn't you be back on your planet?" Beerus smirked as he said, "Ya know, for an Eternal Dragon, you sound like you are quite terrified, Shenron." Shenron broke out in a cold sweat as he said, "T-T-Terrified? N-No, not at all! Umm…do you have a wish, Lord Beerus?" Beerus frowned as he said, "Yes, right. I wish to learn about the entity known as the Super Saiyan God. I would like for you to bring him here, if possible."
Shenron growled lowly as he said, "I'm sorry, but that cannot be done." Beerus frowned as he said, "What was that?" Shenron flinched as he said, "W-Wait! I may not be able to bring a Super Saiyan God here, but I do know the ritual of how to create one!" I raised an eyebrow when Shenron said that. "Wait, create one?", I asked. Shenron flinched again when he saw my face and said, "THE AELITATRIX BEARER IS HERE TOO?! When did you wake up from your coma?!" I smiled as I said, "Its good to see you again, Shenron. But, pleasantries aside, what do you mean ritual?" Shenron cleared his throat as he said, "Well, the Super Saiyan God is not an actual being, but its actually a transformation that can only be reached when five righteous Saiyans pour their inner light into a sixth Saiyan. The sixth Saiyan will be the one who gains access to god energy through this ritual. The six Saiyans must stand in a circle, holding hands. In order to know when the ritual is working, a blue fiery aura will appear within the circle, signaling the one who has been chosen to ascend will transform into the Super Saiyan God."
"Inner light? Not ki?", I asked. "Yes, that's right." Beerus closed his eyes as he said, "I see. Very well." Shenron looked down at us as he said, "Well, your wish has been granted. May I go now? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed here." Beerus looked away as he said, "Do as you wish?" As Beerus said that, Shenron forcibly returned to whence he came, scattering the Dragon Balls across the planet once more. Goku chuckled as he said, "So, that's how it works, huh? Guess that means there is only one thing left to do and give it a try! And fortunately for us, we have six Saiyans right here, so this is perfect for us!" Vegeta frowned as he said, "No way, I won't do it! I refuse to hold hands in this so-called friendship circle we have to make!"
"Oh come on, Vegeta. It won't be too bad! Besides, would you rather our world get destroyed by Beerus instead?", Goku said in a cheeky tone. Vegeta broke out in a sweat when Goku said that. "You can be really annoying sometimes, Kakarot! Fine, let's get this over with!"
Once that was said, each Saiyan took a spot in the circle: Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Vegeta, and Goku being the one chosen to ascend to Super Saiyan God. Only Saiyan remaining was yours truly to join in….
"Come on, Allen! You too need to join in!", Goku replied. "Well, doesn't seem too hard. Into the friendship circle for my brother to gain godly power, totally makes sense.", I said as I took hold of Goten and Trunks' hands, immediately transforming into a Super Saiyan. As I imagined my energy surging through the others into Goku, my mind flashed back for a second, JUST FOR ONE SECOND back to everything that got me to where I am. "To think, I'm going to help make my brother into a Super Saiyan God. How cool is this?", I exclaimed. 'Allen, wait! Something's wrong!', Yami exclaimed in my head.
"Huh?", I replied, only to get hit with a massive surge of pain in my chest. I yelled out loudly as I fell over, Goku turning to me as he said, "Allen, what's wrong? What happened to him?!" Gohan knelt down to me as he said, "We don't know, he just fell over in pain! Uncle Allen, what's wrong? Talk to us!" As Gohan reached his hand near to me, Whis immediately said, "Don't touch him! His ki is negatively reacting to the Super Saiyan God ritual!" Goku looked at Whis and said, "What?! How is that even possible?!" Whis walked over to us as he tapped the head of his cane to my head, cancelling out my Super Saiyan transformation and rendering me unconscious as well. "I've been thinking about it ever since we met you back on King Kai's planet. Has your brother had any type of….spiritual damage done to his body? Like has there been anything that has happened to him that could've corrupted the full growth of his ki?"
Goku frowned when Whis said that and crossed his arms in thought. His eyes widened when he said, "Actually, now that I think about it, I can think of two things that could be a problem." Whis raised an eyebrow as Goku said, "First off, Allen is the Aelitatrix Bearer. But when we landed here on Earth as kids, Allen injured his head badly. To be quite truthful, he should've died the moment we arrived. But luckily, us Saiyans are pretty tough even as children. But, it did leave him in a coma. My grandfather and I didn't think he'd ever wake up. But then, his grandmother came and he stirred, mainly due to his connection with the Aelitatrix. When she took him away, she had his tail removed. So, unlike me, he didn't grow up with his tail."
"So his ki's growth was stunted at a very young age. He never fully matured as a Saiyan. What's the second problem?", Whis asked. Goku frowned as he replied, "Arufunu. In another dimension, Allen was assaulted by a being that created another version of himself with his original Saiyan mind intact. He completely spliced this being from Allen's body, and that took a toll on him. You could say that Arufunu is Allen's darkness, while Allen is a being of pure light. Thanks to the Spirit inside Allen's Puzzle, he does have darkness to balance him out, but I think Arufunu's birth messed up his ki even more." Whis frowned as he said, "Well, that is troubling. Its no wonder the ritual failed. But now, that means you are one Saiyan short of the ritual."
"Which means we're back where we started: me destroyed this planet!", Beerus said as he held out a hand, a small orb of energy appeared within it. As Goku was about to say something, I groaned as I said, "W-Wait. Wait a minute." Beerus frowned as he looked down at me and said, "You're awake?" I coughed slightly as I said, "Go ahead, laugh it up. I'm even less of a Saiyan as I thought I was. However, it doesn't mean that the ritual cannot be completed." Gohan looked at me and said, "Uncle Allen? What do you mean? We're short one Saiyan!" I laughed softly as I said, "You're right. But then you need to ask a question: can a person who is with a Saiyan child stand in my place?" Gohan raised an eyebrow as I smiled and looked over at Videl and said, "Sorry, but I already know. I think its time, Videl." Gohan's eyes widened when I said that as Videl walked over to us and said, "You really do know. How?"
"My secret.", I said with a soft smile. Gohan broke out in a soft smile as he said, "Is he saying what I think he's saying?" Videl smiled as she said, "I'm pregnant, Gohan." Goku grinned widely as he said, "No way, I'm a grandpa!" I looked up at Whis and Beerus and said, "It's worth a try, right? After all, nothing's more pure than a baby." Beerus frowned as he said, "Fine, let's get it over with."
As that was said, Goku and the others attempted the ritual once again, this time with Videl standing in my place. I was in awe as I saw that the ritual was succeeding far better than before. It even made Videl gain a Super Saiyan aura! I'm guessing that was because of her being a mother of a Saiyan child. As I saw a blue flame appear in the middle of the circle, I could feel Goku's own energy vanish in an instant, and then, Goku was immediately cloaked in a pure red aura….
'That's it….that's the form I saw Goku in during the Dimensional Shout.', I said to Yami within my mind. He materialized next to me as he said, 'I cannot sense Goku's energy at all. He's just like Beerus now. He has reached a level that most Saiyans would dream of!' I smiled softly as I said out loud, "My brother, the breaker of limits. Where will this new power take him to this time?" Beerus walked up to Goku and said, "So, that's it then. That's a Super Saiyan God. Remarkable." Goku grinned as he said, "Well, you wanted me, here I am! So, how about it, Lord Beerus? Round two?" Beerus smirked as he said, "I'm going to enjoy this fight."
As that was said, Goku and Beerus flew off into the sky. Due to their energy not being recognizable to me, it was hard for me to keep up with the fight….
"Man, talk about intense. It's taking everything I can just to keep up with them", I said. Whis looked at me and said, "It seems like you are taking the news quite well." I frowned as I said, "My ki is corrupted….actually, I'm not taking it well at all. I'm just terrible at showing emotion sometimes. I really am a failure of a Saiyan. Without my partner's help, I can't even go Super Saiyan without being physically drained. I can't even go Super Saiyan 2! All my training means nothing if I can't get stronger! And now….now Arufunu is out there, somewhere in the multiverse gaining his strength back. I don't think I'll be able to stop him this time." Whis looked at me with calm eyes as he said, "Well you know….there is a way I could help you. Granted, it may not be the best decision in your case, but it will indeed change things for you."
I raised an eyebrow as he said, "What do you mean? How can you help me?" Whis smiled as he summoned his staff as he said, "First, I need to hear it from you: what is it that you want?" I closed my eyes as I remembered the Dimensional Shout from earlier today, replaying Retsu's death in my mind over and over and over again until I said, "I want to get stronger. I want to be able to protect everyone. EVERYONE, so that they'd never have to worry about losing a loved one." Whis smiled as he waved his staff in front of me, a green aura surrounded me for a few seconds.
After a while, nothing happened. But then, I felt an itching sensation on my back. The sensation grew and grew and grew. I was losing my mind, WHAT WAS GOING ON?! It was by then I decided to reach towards my back, but once I did, I was met with something fuzzy and moving…
I pulled what was behind my back and squirmed uncontrollably, as if it was linked to me. Once I reached my hand around, I was in shock to see I was holding a brown tail in my hand. MY TAIL. "Wha, a tail?! You restored my Saiyan tail! Unreal!", I exclaimed, gripping my tail tightly, wincing in pain from the obvious sensitivity a Saiyan tail has. "Whoa, I actually felt that! It's actually real!" Whis chuckled as he said, "Your first goal is to rid yourself of that Saiyan weakness. Live your life with your tail, strengthen it, make it a part of your very being to the point that its just another part of you to fight with. And then, train more. I sense a lot of potential within you that has yet to be tapped into. Who knows, you might just become a Super Saiyan God just like your brother."
I looked back up to the sky, still seeing Beerus and Goku clash with each other, raising an eyebrow as I sensed Goku's energy returning. "Super Saiyan God? Me? Heh, maybe. Let's worry about Super Saiyan 2 first. Wait…..speaking of which, why am I sensing my brother?" Once I said that, Vegeta said, "Get out of the way!" As he said that, he moved to one spot on the yacht and held his arms out, catching Goku who had plummeted from the sky above. My eyes widened as I said, "Goku! No way, he lost?!" Whis stood to his feet as Beerus landed back on the yacht, all covered in cuts and bruises. Whis laughed slightly as he said, "You look like a mess, Lord Beerus! Did you enjoy your fun?"
"Yes, it was fun. But, as expected, even the Super Saiyan God couldn't beat me." Goku coughed as he looked at Beerus and laughed slightly and said, "Still, you have to admit, I did make you go all out. And just you wait: I will get stronger. Stronger than even you!" Beerus chuckled as he held his hand out as another orb of destruction energy appeared as he said, "I said I would destroy the Earth if I won. I hope you didn't forget that." Goku frowned as Beerus released his attack, but was in awe on what happened next: his attack missed, and he fell asleep out of exhaustion. "H-He….fell asleep!", Vegeta exclaimed. "Oh my, he must be pretty exhausted. Guess its time for me to take him home.", Whis replied.
"Wait a minute! If he wakes up, what's to stop him from coming back to destroy us all?!", Bulma exclaimed. Whis laughed slightly as he said, "Oh, I wouldn't be too worried about that. Once Lord Beerus falls asleep, he tends to stay this way for a while. By the time he wakes up, he'll have completely forgotten about most of the events that happened today." Bulma and the others looked over at Beerus as he muttered in his sleep. I swear I heard him say the word "Pudding" as he slept on his feet. Whis walked over and said, "However, I will say this: thank you for playing with him, Goku. I'm sure he'll enjoy doing so again someday." Goku smiled widely as he said, "Anytime! Next time though, I will win!" Whis smiled as he tapped his staff on the ground, him and Beerus flew away in a bright pillar of light.
He faked that attack. I could tell by a landslide he did. But it didn't matter, it was all over and my brother was still alive. As that passed, I finally told the others about what Whis did for me and how I regained my tail, and Goku was surprised I was ok with it, despite the incredibly obvious transformation of the Great Ape being accessible to me. I promised him I would definitely be careful of that tiny problem…
I leaned along the railing of the yacht as Goku walked over to me and said, "So, are you ok, Allen?" I smiled softly as I said, "I always feel like this world never wants to let me leave whenever I come to visit. This is where I was born, after all. But with Arufunu out there, I have to get stronger. I must get stronger…" Goku smiled as he said, "And you will. And never forget, all it takes is a call and all of us will come and help in any way we can." I nodded in agreement as I sighed and said, "It's time for me to go back to Amaria. There is still one thing I need to take care of." Goku nodded as he said, "Come back and visit sometime. I'll have Chi-Chi make a big meal for your arrival!" I smiled as I said, "Tell everyone I said I'll see them later."
As I said that, I shattered into the Dimensional Rift once more, leaving Goku and the others behind. A few minutes passed as I returned to Amaria, back within my office….
I sighed softly as I walked over to my office door and I unlocked it, my attention immediately being met by literally every single one of my friends bowing their heads. "We're sorry, Allen!", everyone said. Retsu walked up to me and said, "It's my fault. I told everyone about you being the Living Paradox and that it should be kept secret from you. Can you ever forgive me?" I closed my eyes as I said, "It's ok. You all did what was best for me, and I am grateful for it. But we have a bigger problem than me, so listen carefully. Even you, Retsu." As I said that, everyone's face contorted to that of concern as I told them of the Dimensional Shout I experienced that morning, right down to the last detail. When I finished, everyone was angry once I was done.
"And that's it: no Aelitatrix, no Puzzle, no power, and Arufunu kills Retsu right in front of me.", I stated. Nana crossed her arms as she said, "This is a very big situation. Retsu's survival is crucial to everything, even down to the very survival of the multiverse itself." I nodded as I said, "As of today, we must dedicate not only our services to the protection of the multiverse, but to find and defeat Arufunu once and for all. Agreed?!"
"Understood!", everyone exclaimed as I frowned and thought, 'Arufunu…..this time, you're going down!'
Meanwhile, somewhere within the Dimensional Rift…..
A soft laugh was heard within the Rift's many corridors, the source came from The Amaria Shadow himself, still in the midst of repairing his body from his defeat eight years ago. "Run, run, run little brother. I can feel you even now in this pathetic state. I can feel your anger, your hatred towards me. Ohhh, how I relish in it. You want to defeat me. You want to put an end to me. To that, I say…..give it your best shot. I welcome your challenge. This time, however, there is no second chances. I will kill you, and I will do so slowly and painfully.", Arufunu's voice rang out hauntingly, his sole green eye opened as he looked far beyond the Rift as he laughed once more.
As Arufunu slowly regained his strength, the Celestial Guard immediately put all their efforts to finding him. But what does Arufunu intend on doing? Only time can tell….
