So I was doodling yesterday, trying to get the art flowing again after coming up dry the first time around, and decided to try an experiment. Choose an animal at random from a giant list (Seal!), now combine it with a 'wtf?' archetype (Gangster Thug!) Draw.

The end result wound up being my first attempt (dew ragged rhino surfer) surrounded by a bunch of others, which we promptly identified as The Next Big Gay Furry Drama comic/book/web-strip.

Nominal protagonist <Rhino> <Surfer> is part of the fetishizeable subculture of <Street Gangs>. He's torn between two possible partners, the chubby geeky sub-culture outsider who is the audience stand-in <Guinea Pig>, and the egotistical obviously-no-good <Seal> who embraces the fetishizeable subculture far more then the protagonist does.

The protagonist is helped in his decision of who to choose by his wisecracking laid back friend <Rasta> <Kangaroo>, but he must watch out! The homophobic <Anteater> is sure to cause trouble, and his public facade and his fetishizeable subculture collide when his buddy the <Bat> he knows from childhood turns out to be a <Cop>.

In this issue, someone gets gay bashed, dark secrets are revealed, sex is implied but never happens on camera, and if we're lucky, the plot may advance by a whole two hours!

I swear to god, this was just supposed to have been a light warmup doodle.
