The Chompasaur has Paula's most powerful weapon, the Magic Fry Pan... lets just leave it at that reason on why she's doing this after defeating it...

Paula has Ness hold her current weapon for her, stomachs herself, and steps into and sink herself into the Chompasaur's Poopoo in order to dig and look for the fabled weapon buried in the dino sh*t.

She's clearing her mind of all mundane thoughts despite the look on her face thankfully as she's getting a whiff of the poop, she should've fainted from the dino dung's ovewhelmingly disgusting stench!

Jeff and Kato(Prince Poo) despite the the disgust, are somewhat impressed at Paula's courage and bravery while Ness is infatuated by her bravery.

Hopefully the Springs will be a bath enough for Paula... and clean the Magic Fry Pan once she retrieves it.
