PS.: Must identify the birb!! BU Sang all kinds of songs, even imitated other birds, froggos and car alarms, and all that in the middle of the night. All I could make out was a fairly normal/smallish size, yet thing with a long tail. 10/10 birdo, amazing skills, give him seed.
Could you make out colors, even partially? If it was gray and black, with hints of white, it could have been a mockingbird; varying shades of brown, it could have been a thrasher, although I don't think they go very far north.
