Wait, so the Japanese cloth diaper fastens with the front side first and not the left and right edges?

yes the older style ones the wings are brought up to the front and velcroed/snapped together before the front is brought up and snapped or velcroed to the wings

nah dont think so these ones are just an older style i think as with most things they change over time i just happen to like this look better

yeah i dont see why not besides its a matter of style preference anyways if you think she looks better that way who is to say its wrong ? besides just google japanese cloth diaper cover and you will see both styles/variations
